I have a number of RipSkirts, some of which have velcro that has become tired. I sneezed once and my skirt blew off. So I bought these cute pins so that never happens again. I like the choice in colors. Well made.

For my use. These are a thin version of a diaper pins. I don't know as I'd trust them to hold my babies diaper on. Must be very aware that if the fabric fills the pin, there is a really good shot they it will fail.Seller got them here quickly.

They close securely, good size. Open and close easily. I use them to pin socks together as pairs before washing. Just one example of the many things i use them for. Nice color too.

I needed safety pins as the cast ( many were children ) needed temp repairs for rips in costumes or taking up or taking in the sizes of " hired" costumes that we are not allowed to change. I couldnt buy the type of pin i required anywhere in shops locally including Boots the chemist where you would have thought 'nappy pins ' would be next to the Nappies. So thanks to Amazon for next day delivery and saving the day ! I have used over 50 pins so far and very happy so far. None have come undone nd all cast members happy and they can dance around on stage.

Why purchased: I had previously bought a packet of black safety pins identical to the structure and size of these. I liked the festive colors of these (see pic).Use: My primary use is to tie the back of my chemo cap ties for the right size. But also keeps pairs of socks and pillowcases or towels together or sheets to the mattress. No babies so not tested on diapers. They are pretty stiff and sharp and can do the towels, haven’t found (tested) a firmness and thickness that failed, not that they are awesome, just limited testing.Structure and function: See pic, verified that they are 2” (~50 mm) in length. Stainless steel, limited exposure to water (laundry) thus far but no rust to date. See pics but oddly, these are made to use by left-handed users. If held in the right hand, the opening for inserting the pin is out of site on the bottom. I find in my uses thus far the metal part of the pin is sturdy enough and sharp enough for what I have used (as described above). I like the festive colors. I have about 20 of the pins and (see pic) I have one of the plastic ends crack. The plastic cap does have a seam around the end crack so maybe not a surprise that the pin could break through as the pressure from the pin is firm enough to keep closed.Overall: One-star deduction due to breakage, but maybe a “one off” will continue to monitor.
