Worked as it should, got it to add to a manual motorcycle balancer to check for bends in rims. Worked great to true a spoked wheel.

I've only used this so far to check run-out on a drill press. It performed admirably. The magnetic base and arm are more than adequate. Positioning the arm is easy enough, but it took me several attempts to figure out the best way to manipulate it without it over-loosening and falling apart.Somehow I missed that this was a metric dial indicator. I probably would have opted for SAE units if I had noticed, but for the purpose I bought it, it doesn't actually matter.I also really like that this comes in a case as it's not a tool I will be using on a regular basis. Stores away safe and neat.

I could deal with the tool, if it had a stronger magnet. It can barely hold it's own weight and if you are checking the runout on a wheel, or hub the whole tool will fall to the ground once a little pressure touches the rotating item
