Works great but I had to shave off just a bit of the edge of the female threaded side. When I installed it the threads bottomed out against the stop nut on the back of my CB and the elbow was still a little loose. I used my Dremel to remove about 1mm of the end of the collar and was able to get a good tight fit.

Worked great on our Antenna installation. The SWR readings on the Quad are very good. We would recommend.

Here is the adapter fitted to the rear of my modern Cobra CB that’s mounted to a 1975 era cb transmission hump cradle. This right angle eliminates the antenna cable binding that had been happening using this setup. Superb!!

I needed this because the space behind my IC-7300 is limited and connecting the cable directly was putting stress on the connection. This one had good ratings and is working well for my purposes. Some others did not have great ratings. This one appears to be of good quality and I have not noticed any signal degradation from using it.

This product will help you out of tough spaces. Transceivers often have their cable connectors in awkward locations, for example on the back when you need to run the cable directly down or to the right or left. It can be that the connector is on the side and you need to run the cable to the rear. In such cases you really do need a right angle adapter, and this is the one. It is nickel plated, well made and rugged. Look no further for the solution.

Yup, does exactly what it says. It's a right angle PL-259 to SO-239 connector, and indeed did provide me with that much needed right angle turn. Is it to expensive for what it is? I mean, yeah probably most of the cost is in shipping, and if you are one of the lucky people to have a ham store close by, go ahead and save yourself the $2 you will blow on shipping by buying this part online. But if you don't, I'm not so sure it gets really any cheaper for much of anything. For clarification, the SO-239 is the standard connection to a PL-259. If you are new to radio equipment, you may have just not run into the term before, because they are almost always hard wired into your equipment, but yes, this is probably the part you need to make that turn without worrying about crimping your coax.As for features it's full of them. It's right angle...made of metal...and...will help with those tight right turns. What can I say, I'm a smidge on the bored side, and figured a review would be a good way to pass the time, because let's be clear...it's just a PL-259 right angle connector, and if you are worried about your feed line loss over the connector when so much of the world is stil using RG 8x while you've got ladder line all the way to your full wave yagi pumping out 1,000 watts on a 100 meter tall tower I'm not so sure why you are buying component from amazon instead of a trusted dealer, but for the bulk of us, this part is going to fit the bill just fine without worrying if it's going to have an immeasurable impact on the wattage at your antenna. 73

I had recently tried the "Ancable UHF PL259" right angle connectors sold here on Amazon, It was impossible to achieve a tight fit of the male into the female mating SO239. Even when tightened with gas pliers I was still able to move the body up and down vertically out of the collar. This would indicate a poor connection with the SO239 receptacle, at best. I firmly believe after many years as a Ham Radio guy that tight secure connections in the RF transmission line are an absolute must! The Anacable UHF PL259 right angle adaptor was so loose even when torqued down with gas pliers was still loose in the verticle plane! These, despite many comments of being unable to tighten them, in my experience are very tight and RF secure. I want to be clear that I am writing of not one, but three connectors. See my review of the "Ancable UHF PL259" adaptor and please take my advice and run the other way! Oh, and Amazon you may ask? Amazon is Alwayz Amazing! These connectors fit tight and totally secure with no up and down play of the body and no sid to side or rotational movement at all.
