This compression testing set has fittings for replacing injectors and glow plugs. Please refer to the list below for details of fittings and thread patterns and sizes. Quick release pull down coupler for a quick change between hoses and adapters. Kit comes complete with adapters for both direct and indirect diesel injected car engines.

For my B8200 (3 cylinder D950 engine) I needed an M10 1.25 fitting and I was having a tough time finding it. There are plenty of off the shelf kits at the local auto parts stores, but I could only find M10 1.0. This kit has both. The one I needed in the kit has too much length beyond the threaded part, but the solution was to simply cut off the unthreaded extra and it worked great.Happy with the order!

Filed for return but when attempted to return or exchange for correct kit ,was informed had been past return date. Life s been a struggle here last few years diag with cancer during hip replacement . So now stuck with compression test kit that I can t use .

The Commercial Grade DHA Diesel Engine Compression Tester features Rock Solid Construction, Includes all of the adapters needed to work on modern Diesel Engines. I needed to test the compression on my Ford 7.3L diesel and an International Harvester, the tool set I have owned for forty years finally gave up the Ghost. I ordered the DHA Compression Tester Set hoping that it would have the necessary adapters I needed, Wow! Not only did it contain the adapters that I needed, it also has multiple adapter that are designed to use Glow-Plug holes and such greatly reducing the amount of disassembly needed to test the compression properly. My Title: Professional Grade - Solid Construction - Well Designed- DHA Diesel Engine Compression Tester says it all! It is a very easy to use time saver that is very accurate to say the least. I would highly recommend this set without question.

THOUGH THEY WILL SCREW IN TO THE GLOW PLUG HOLE , DUE TO THE ROCKER ARM THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CLEARANCE TO ATTACH THE GAUGE. DONT BUY IF YOU NEED FOR A 7.3 POWERSTROKE. MODIFICATION IS POSSIBLE BUT DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK

Impressive kit with quality fittings. Looks like everything I’ll need for checking nearly every Diesel engine out there. This has a very good selection of fittings to cover most applications. The pressure gauge is easy to read, descent quality and is rubber coated to stand up to abuse for the intended purpose. This will come in handy for years to come. I’ll update this review after a few uses.

The DHA Diesel Engine Compression Tester Kit is a "shade tree" mechanic's tool set that should be just fine for my purpose of testing compression on my old Ford 1710 tractor while trying to diagnose a problem with occasional misfiring. The kit comes with a myriad of adapters that should cover most, but not all, applications.The gauge is large, which is good for my old eyes, and it showed 100 PSI accurately when I tested it with air pressure. Pressure hold and release is fine.I measured the adapter threads against my set of thread gauges using a digital caliper and they ran consistently small. For this reason I intend to use only minimal torque when installing them to avoid damaging the threads in my engine. I'll be most concerned with the glow plug adapters having smaller threads.This is a bargain-priced test kit that should work for you if you use it carefully and only occasionally, which is what I will do. If you are more into quality tools or are a professional, this may not be for you.
