Perfectly for almost all petrol/gas engines: cars, motorcycles, trucks, chainsaws, lawn mowers, boat motors and other 2 or 4 stroke, single or multi-cylinder gasoline engines.
NOTE:
Please always release the pressure and reset the gauge before disconnecting the compression test.
Ensure that the cylinder pressure does not exceed the maximum range of the gauge.
Not for most diesel engine, due to the low pressure range 0-300PSI.

OPERATION
1. After the engine is running to normal temperature, stop the engine and disconnect all spark plug wires, clean all spark plug wells.
2. Remove the air filter and set the throttle plates to the wide open position.
3. Disconnect the ignition system and install the push-on connector , or screw the assembled hose into the spark plug hole. (Hand tighten only, DO NOT use a wrench, DO NOT over tighten) Then connect the gauge by the quick connector. Make sure all connections are fully engaged.
4. Crank the engine for at least 5 compression strokes until the pressure reading no longer changes. Record the pressure reading, then press the button (release valve) to relieve the pressure.
5. Repeat the above steps and measure each cylinder 2 to 3 times to ensure measurement accuracy. Don't forget to reset the gauges and crank the engine each time. The removed parts should be put back in place after the operation, especially before engine running.

Al conectarlo y querer medir la comprecion sube la aguja y mide pero inmediatamente empieza a bajar la aguja de la nada no mantiene la lectura de nada sirve el botón de reinicio ya que solo la aguja se baja quedando en 0 de nuevo muy mal producto nunca mas lo volvería a comprar ni lo recomiendo
