The quality of these is great. I sometimes make my own leashes for my dogs and these are some of the best clasps Ive used. Great weight, and well made.

I had a couple come in with some flashing that left a jagged piece out, but it was easy enough to file off. And for the price and how minor the issues were, I don't feel jaded or bothered by it at all! Overall, I'm actually really happy with the quality of the pieces. They have a nice heft to them, the material feels plenty sturdy for what I'll be using it for and probably even more. If I'm in need of anymore of these clasps for further projects, I'll definitely be coming back!

For as much as we pay for horse blankets, I don't know why the snaps are always soo cheap. I have blankets in use from size 60 up to a snug 90 (still looking for a bigger fit for the big guy). The 60's through 86 all use the same small, cheap snaps, and they are often gummed up by misc. things from the field or are broken. We got these snaps as replacements for the broken snaps on 3 different blankets and were happy to see how large and heavy these snaps are. They have been on for a bit now and they still work as well as the day we put them on. Even the one on our yearling is doing fantastic! We're going to have to remember these and keep some on hand as we get new blankets in.

I bought these twice now and they work perfectly for goats that have a tendency to unsnap the ones that have thumb levers never had them to unsnap these and plenty strong enough for a 250 pound goat
