I'm a professional leather worker. My current supplier has tripled their prices for a similar product. I, trying to keep MY prices down, tried these swivel snaps. Well, 5 out of the first seven broke upon removing them from the ziplock bag. They snap right at the swivel. Cheap stuff avoid at all costs!!!

The snap part is smaller then the typical scissor snap. Will see how they hold up with the horses and reins.

Opened package to find three of these already broken from transportation I’m guessing. these are very cheap and will not hold up over time

Bought these to repair the wind straps on the ice fishing tent. These are not quite heavy duty enough for that application. No fault of the product though.

one came broken. they feel pretty flimsy and it is kind of a pain to get the clasps open as they are pretty small.ETA: I used these to make dog leashes (a DIY project which is mentioned in the item description). it’s been almost a year and I have had several break on me and have to be replaced. It’s a good thing my dogs are trained well and will recall if the leash breaks otherwise they would’ve been gone!

These trigger snaps feel like they are made of hard cheap plastic. Pulling the trigger open is tough if you have larger fingers. I don't recommend these.

These were described as something that can be used for pet leashes. That is incorrect. They are small and fragile. These are more for something like a key fob or a lanyard. They are really small and weak. I’m returning them, I don’t trust this hardware at all.

Been using these clasps on my camera gear for years. Got a couple on my camera strap for quick release as I find at times doing sports photography the strap gets in the way, but I’d rather have camera on my shoulder while walking until I get positioned on the field I then quickly un clip the strap from camera and attach to my belt loops and we’re off. These are smaller than the ones I’ve had in the past but they do the job. I also put one on my key ring too so if I have something I want temporarily attached to my keys (eg Meds container) I can attach and detach quickly and I know it’s not going to undo itself.Great little device 👍Quinny

Very small snap wasnt what I was expecting at all. Decent quality but will not hold up to much tension.

These are very strong. The claw clasp is actually a little hard to open which is great because once they are hooked to something, it doesn't fall off from movement. I used these for my keychains that I make and they have worked perfectly. The claw clasp rotates smoothly and 360 degree which helps to prevent tangling, of whatever you have attached to it. The black coating on these has not chipped or flaked. I will say that the 1/2" size is really only big enough to fit around something the size of a belt loop. It really isn't big enough to fit a wider strap. But overall, this set of clips are excellent quality and I would recommend.

I got them to hold two ends of a puppy playpen together. They are too small for the job (danger edible) but aside from that, my problem is they don't stay closed. Even a tiny bit of force opens them up a bit. I haven't had one fall off but it's just a matter of time. I'm switching to carabiners. Sorry, I'm sure the clips are good for tons of things!
