the small spring loaded lever is a little stiff but works good on kites and other small things just the right size

The snaps are a nice small size - I had been looking for little ones to use on show leashes and snap around slip collars for dogs. I haven’t subjected them to a lot of use yet, but they seem fairly sturdy, for the size. The lever to open them works well - it doesn’t stick shut (or open!) and the spring is strong enough to keep it closed once released.I am disappointed that I did not get one of each color, as pictured in the listing. I ordered two packs - one had two red ones, instead of a blue, and the other had three red, no blue or gold.

Too small for what i needed and have to pay to return! i wanted these to hold my rabbit cage door closed but they are sooo tiny. It'll cost me almost as much to return them as i paid them for them. If something is listed as prime i expect it to be free shipping for purchase and return.

My wife likes these for adding or removing additional keys/fob on her key chain. They are small and appear to have good quality for both slide and ring. The different colors can be useful for distinguishing between different keys at a glance. We cannot find this size in hardware stores, big box or small, in our area any more. Another reason to look online!

These clips are small, but I'm happy with the size, since they're light and still sturdy for attaching a cell phone to a belt loop or for attaching keys to a ring inside a tote bag. They're probably not heavy enough to attach a dog leash; one would need a stronger, larger clip for that purpose. The colors are great, and they're shiny and light. The spring action works well, and you can either add a cloth loop to the ring end to attach one permanently inside a tote bag, or you can add your own split key ring to the round end. A good product, and I like the variety of colors in one package.

I had been hanging a large set of keys from my belt on a large snap hook that barely fit in my pants pocket, so I order this pack of smaller ones. I thought I only needed one, but have already used three. They are study and the hook is secure (unlike some that allow the keys to slip off). They are note design for dog leashes or heavy items, but for their purpose and price I give them 5 stars.

The colors are much nicer than the photo reflects very bright finishes and good clip. Read the description, however, these are 1 1/2" from the top of the clip to the bottom of the ring. Check that on your ruler, or look at one in Home Depot/Lowe's before purchasing. These are light weight aluminum, not steel, so keep this in mind before purchasing-- they are not made for heavy weight. These are absolutely perfect for what I will be using them for and I will, definitely, be back for more. I do hope that they will, eventually, come in the bigger sizes as I could use those in these great colors too! I showed them to a friend and she immediately wanted to know where I got them so she could purchase as well :)

I've been looking for some new snap hook clips for use with my exercise pen. The ones that were included were a bit large. When the edges of the pen were clipped it left a sizable gap. These smaller clips are the perfect size to secure my Midwest Exercise Pen. They clip on easily and leave almost no gap. They are made of cast Aluminum, which is both a pro and con. They are light weight, and the anodized colors are really very nice. However, cast Aluminum is not a very sturdy material. One of my clips broke the first day when I had to move the pen out of the rain. Of course it might have just been a bum clip, since the others held up, but from now on I'll be removing the clips before moving the pen.For light weight duties they should be fine.Like most non-brass bolt snaps these are a bit squeaky and tight when you slide the bolt. My fix for that is a quick shot of Liquid Wrench Dry-Lube with PTFE. I prefer that to typical light oils, because the liquid carrier evaporates quickly leaving the part dry to the touch. If you are looking for something larger and sturdier you might want to check out this item: . I have some of those as well, and they are high quality, strong parts (I posted a review on those as well). See the picture I posted for size comparison. Large one on the left is the product I linked above. Center is the clip that was supplied with my Midwest brand pet exercise pen. Smaller one on the right is the product in this review.
