You have to be so accurate to get a good picture. There is a very small range of clarity. I ended up spending more money and buying a lens that is auto.

Since my cousin has a Canon camera I bought these extension tubes for him for his macro photography I do not know how well it works for him all I know is if it works like mine they're really good value

I can't believe this is a Viltrox product. It is shabby construction and intermittently faulted my camera no matter what combination I used. The rough finish on the mounting rings was similar to sandpaper.

If you’re using a prime lens extension tubes produce reasonably good results. These Viltrox extension tubes are reasonably priced and they’re pretty good quality.

The function of this accessory kind of caught me off guard. Although it feels cheap the way it works is amazing. Great pin contacts for autofocus and aperture control.

I was surprised that the electronic connection works so well. They definitely look and feel cheap, but they work great. Plus, you're not likely to be attaching big heavy lenses to macro tubes or being too rough on them, anyway. There's probably no reason to buy more expensive macro tubes. If you were a pro, you'd probably be looking at a nice macro lens. If you just want something to have in your bag to take some flower photos or something once in a while, you'll be happy with these. All of that said, they are macro tubes, macrophotography isn't the easiest, so if you're expecting to rely on autofocus to get pictures of bugs moving around a lot, you're going to be disappointed.

They work but the build quality is questionable, they feel very thin and light, as if the weight of a lens could crack them.
