I live in a very old farm house. Electricity was put in after it was built. I have a single bulb over my laundry in my basement. I had a string attached to that bulb to turn on the light. The string was long and was cut into many times by the board it went across when the string was turned on. This remote turn on has made my life so much easier. Just remember that the part attached to light bulb makes it hang down further so if you have a shade of some kind on the bulb it may not fit. Measure carefully.

I purchased this for my grandfather that had a stroke. He absolutely loved it. He was able to turn lights on and off without having to walk to the lights. His bedroom was just off the living room so he was able to turn on the bedroom light when he was ready to and then he was able to turn off the living room and bedroom lights once he settled into bed. He just kept the remote on his walker. I am not sure what the maximum distance that it will work. It might say that in the description but it worked great for his needs.

These remote lights were easy to install (literally screw them into the lamp socket base), look at the number on the remote socket that corresponds to the number on the remote control, screw the light bulb into the remote socket, turn on the light at the lamp itself and turn it off by the corresponding OFF button on the remote. Thats it!

these make everything easier. 2 table lamps and 1 tall torchiere lamp in an adjacent room, all controlled with one remote. no getting up at dusk to turn switches on and then reach again to turn off. i have a feeling that the frequent return warning may have to do with operator error which i discovered was likely my fault. Dana at their customer service is the BEST, explaining operating instructions as intended to set and reset. i'm buying another set from this same brand supplier when i get 2 more new lamps. yay!

The installation was easy to do. Good value for the money. Be aware that you need to follow the instructions as the remote might not be fully programmed but it’s so easy to follow.

These worked as intended. Very easy to install. The remotes control any light bulb used in them. Unfortunately, they could not be left in any ceiling light fixtures or lamps in my house due to the added height of the bulb. Enclosures and lampshades could not be installed with these in place and I did not want to leave exposed bulbs. I will not be able to use them. If you have the right fixtures they would work great.

The switch on my lamp doesn't work so I had to plug and unplug it. This thing works very well.

My mother has just gone into a seniors residence (long-term care) and they come and turn the lights off and close the doors pretty early in the evening. She is no longer mobile and now she can just turn her lamp on beside her TV by herself! This is wonderful! You do have to find the right lamp because it does make the bulb little higher up but with a little experimenting I found the perfect one. Also very easy to learn to use with only two buttons on the remote!

Very pleased with product so far. We installed pendent lights in our kitchen without having to install a switch. Once installed everything worked perfectly. The remotes were preprogrammed and very easy to use. The remotes work from across the house through walls. We purchased radio frequency over smart lighting because we live in a remote area and wifi is limited, this was an excellent solution. We are very pleased so far.

I love this product and it solves a lot of lighting problems without having to rewire my basement. Thanks for that! The bulb compatibility that is listed is a bit confusing (as a non-electrical guy), so I did some testing. The maximum watts for incandescent is 60W, so what's the difference if I use a 60W LED light? I don't know why, but the switch stops working after a few clicks when I use a 60W LED light (it's a trasformable LED light on Amazon). If I switch back to a 10W LED bulb and click on/off many many times, the switch starts working again. I guess I'll just have to stick to the low watt bulbs.

switch works well. quite fast. does require line-of-sight. (no walls... with walls it is a bit flakey)when the remote switch loses power, defaults to on. the way a remote lamp switch should work. that way the lamp acts as if the remote switch is not in the way.i have this installed in a goose neck lamp that is behind my TV set to provide back/fill light behind the TV. this switch works brilliantly. but, it should be pointed at the lamp, and not though walls because the on/off switching slows down in that case. (gets flakey, other than that no problems)easy to program the buttons, just press the lamp remote button, the. the remote button... i set it up so on the all 3 on buttons turn on the lamp.
