I used this with my larger threaded hole-saws up to 6 inch and never have had any issues. Quick lock and unlock. I’ve used this with dewalt, Diablo, Bosch and a variety of Amazon off brand hole-saws.

This DeWalt arbor is the easiest to change hole saws and pilot bits. Holes saws fit tight without wobble which prolongs pilot bit life and drills more precise holes. Most other brands have wobble. Nicely durable and heavy due to simple quick change design, no problems there.It doesn't include instructions so when I received it I thought the set screw for the pilot bit was defective, so I returned it for a replacement, but it turns out it was not defective. You don't need any tools to change the pilot bit. You just pull down to unlock the pilot bit.I found this DeWalt on a "Best hole saw" review. There were two recommendations whichbI bought both but the DeWalt is the best.

Needing a new pilot bit is a normal thing. Finding a replacement for this arbor is challenging. The arbor would be the best ever if it took a standard pilot.

the arbor requires a special quick release pilot bit which means if you break one and are in a pinch you can not just pick another one up from a supply house or hardware store.

Not all quick load arbors are built the same, this one and my Lennox are the best. I do really like the Diablo but you typically have to only use Diablo hole saws with it, the DeWalt and Linux you can use any brand.
