This grinder exhausts out the back and has a LOT of torque. You 《can》 stall it but it will grind hard all day . Just keep it oiled.

This grinder worked great for almost a month. So today the gears in the 90 degree head stripped the teeth off so it is a paper weight. Not sure who to get a hold of to get a resolution for this or even if this is an option. long story short it is not as good of a deal as I thought. Very Disappointed.

I love this unit cause I love Dewalt, 90% of my tools are it. The reason I bought this cause it helps me when I do a brake job. Very easy and small that it wont stress your hand while smoothing out the hub.

I thought all these grinders would be about the same. I had purchased a couple of similar grinders from HF and I was always disappointed in their performance. They would bog down pretty much as soon as I made contact with the material. I recently hit a point in my project car where I needed to strip and grind in tight areas and my HF grinders were making it take forever. I just happened to watch an episode on YT where they mentioned how bad HF die grinders perform, so I figured I'd give something else a try. I've got several battery powered Dewalt tools and they have always worked great, so I figured I'd give this tool a try.Wow, the difference is night and day! This grinder doesn't bog down at all. It's a real workhorse. I'm able to get into the tight spots and strip everything down to the metal. The safety trigger is easy to operate too. No more fumbling around with the trigger like the HF grinders. This grinder is so much better in every way that it's really no comparison. As with any high speed air tool, you'll need a pretty stout compressor if you're going to run this for long periods. I have a 30 gal rated at 5 CFM, and I have to wait for it to catch up during long sessions. All of these tools are like that though, even my junk HF ones (which are probably going in the trash now). Noise level is the typical whine for this type of tool. While it won't blow your ears out, I'd recommend ear protection if you're using it for long periods or indoors.I highly recommend this grinder. I wish they made it in a 45 degree model.

At a 1/4 the price of a snap on and the same power and air consumption it's a no brainer.I used my first almost daily and only bought two more so as to not be bothered swapping the bits.Nothing in it's price range has the same power yet still small enough to keep complete control and comfortable ergonomics. USE AIR TOOL OIL.

Folks, ya gotta keep grease in the head of this thing. That little silver button fitting is a grease fitting. There's an issue with the manual not including this little bit of information. IR67 grease kit from Ingrasoll Rand will work just fine and keep this grinder from seizing up.
