Was going to return it for the next size up but gave it another chance and it actually works fine for wheel lugs, trailer, SUV etc. You just need to let it build up torque for a few moments to break it free. Anything much harder to remove just break out the breaker bar.

One of the most handy tools I have purchased for a quick grab from the shelf and breaking loose stubborn bolts/nuts. Impressive for it's size.

This thing is small, light weight and mighty strong. Impressive torque without killing your hands and arms. No issue loosening the 24 lug nuts on my 2023 Nissan Frontier when I rotated the tires and checked the brakes. Make sure to use a torque wrench when replacing bolts, or lug nuts. Like all my DeWalt 20 volt tools, this impact wrench is impressive. Perfect for the home owner that works on their own vehicles and maintains lawn equipment. Tremendous value when purchased as a bare tool, workmanship is impressive. I received the item in two days. Very pleased with this purchase--look forward to using it again soon. It is nice that AMAZON carries the DeWalt line of 20 volt tools. Easy to order and received quickly.

So glad I bought this. Having been on the dewalt 20v platform already was nice since I have plenty of batteries. So far I’ve used it for removing lug nuts on multiple vehicles to doing exhaust work and suspension work mostly. It’s got a lot of power and makes quick work of tough to remove nuts and bolts.

Used this for tire on the SUV and multiple cars. No issue. Got enough power to do the jobs just fine.

I have a bunch of DeWalt 20v max tools, and they’re all very good quality. This impact driver is no exception. Ever try to take a car wheel off with a lugnut wrench when you’re 68 and have a bum shoulder? Forget about it with this thing.I use it mostly for car wheels and lawnmower blade removal. I don’t need it often, but boy, when I do, it’s just wonderful. The batteries are expensive as they all are, but DeWalt batteries are highest quality, and my 5 or 6 batteries have lasted for years and still retain full power.I have a leaf blower, a hedge trimmer, chainsaw, 5” circular handheld saw, orbital sander, drill, flashlight, work fan and now this impact driver, all using the same batteries, and I don’t have a negative thing to say about any of them.

I just replaced my brakes/Discs and Calipers. Rotated my tires and replaced a control arm. I drive a 3/4 ton truck with an 8 lug pattern. If I would have just had regular hand tools, I would have had a much more procrastinating, slow and unmotivated approach on the work. When you have a stuck bolt in a inconvenient location it is such a huge annoyance. Luckily this little Dewalt was able to reach all the bolts and bust them loose with a swivel head for hard to reach bolts. If you DIY on your vehicles I couldn't recommend this more. It has enough power for your basic vehicle parts without running near as much risk of snapping bolts like a larger unit. It is actually shorter than my impact hammer meaning for what it is it is very compact. It is a tough reliable unit. I am running a 4 mah Dewalt battery and removing 4 brake calipers and 4 eight lug tires then putting them back on probably used 1/4 of the battery. Meaning it is very efficient especially for its size. I keep mine in my truck since its portable it can be handy for roadside emergencies as well. Why get a sore back and waste time hand turning lugs when you can make it so much more effortless?

I am more of a DIY’er at home, and was in mild need of an impact wrench that I can have handy to remove wheel lugs off of my Toyota Tacoma and the my other two SUVs. First I bought the Amazon brand ‘SeeSii’, which is insanely powerful as well, however I’m a die hard DeWalt fan as I have other tools and batteries, so I opted to buy this DCF911 model. I tried it on my Tacoma lugs torqued to 140ft lb (from the dealer), and it took less than 2 seconds to break a lug loose. I’m returning the SeeSii as I want to keep it dewalt. Also don’t like the charger it came with the seesii.

It is a Dewalt, it works well. My own baggage but I hate the socket connection interface on this compared to any socket I've used. I'm not a mechanic so I'm sure there's a reason for it, but man, it is such a pain to quickly change sockets when working.Battery life is good. I'd say this is good for anything under 80 ft lbs of torque. It was able to loosen some rusty parts, but could not beat a breaker bar in a lot of cases.
