Great tool must have if you are a drywall hanger. Wasn't to sure about it at first not sure if it was human error or if the tool needed broke in but after couple hundred screws it seemed to really work well. A little pricey and it don't come with a battery but well worth it just not have to deal with a extension cords. Amazing how long the batteries last. Two fully charged 20V last me all day with some to spare. I would recommend to a friend but not a competitor.

Another great 20V MAX Dewalt tool. As part of the Dewalt family, it gets along very well with my 20V MAX drills, impact drivers, hammer drill and circular saw. Using it with my preferred 5 AH batteries it's a tad heavy, but it'll run for hours. Like most of these tools, driving screws to a consistent depth (once set the way you want it) is dependent upon keeping the the tool very near purpendicular to the drywall when un operation, since anything more than a tiny angle off-purpendicular will result in the bit disengaging the screw early and not setting it as deep as you intended. But that's a result of the way this type of tool limits depth and not really a fault of the drill. Depth setting is very easy, and the clip on the side for hanging it on a belt or pocket is well-positioned and extremely handy. Being brushless, I'd expect the motor itself to last pretty much forever, although the required electronics for brushless motors may not last as long... time will tell. Although I don't have all that many hours on this tool yet, I can say that my 20v MAX drills, saw and especially the impact drivers have endured a whole lot of hard use with no issues at all. I am extremely happy with these tools and highly recommend them.

This thing is impressive, I am not sure of how many screws this will actually drive on a charge but its way more than one can imagine. I am finishing my basement and I bought this to speed up the drywall installation and that it does! This is well worth the time savings over a typical drill/driver. The depth adjustment is great and works as advertised, If there was one thing I would change, the 'ON' trigger lock needs to be a little harder to release, with a simple bump of the trigger you turn it off, yes I am sure there is a valid reason for this but it would be nice if it was a little more difficult to turn it 'OFF' when locking the trigger in the on position.

I can not say enough good things about this gun, if you hang drywall, even occasionally I recommend this gun, w a 5 amp batt it easily goes half a day. None of my crew has even brought out a corded gun in weeks. Origanlly bought this for doing mall barricades and fire wall top outs, where cords are not the best, but it quickly has become their tool of choice for many jobs. Led light is especially handy for toping out in the bar joist which are always dark. Wouldn't use It for decking or big screws, bu it wasn't meant for that, that's what the impact drivers are for. Highly recommend this gun, and I rarely post a review.

Nice and light. Just as good as my old corded one but cordless and lighter. Only complaint is that after it gets a little dusty when you try to remove the nose cone it jacks up the depth adjustment. Luckily I don't really need to do that much though.
