Burner: The Model – DFC (180,000 BTU) burner is powerful and efficient. Its nozzle design enhances longevity and efficiency. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, the nozzle has a diameter at the widest point 50mm. The gas burner features an adjustable air choke, which helps to regulate the air-propane mixture during combustion to achieve varying pressures and maximum temperature. Operating pressure ranges from 1 to 25 PSI. The burner includes a gas ball valve for on/off control
Our burners are designed to operate with: Butane, Propane, Butane + Propane Gas, and LPG. They are not compatible with Natural Gas

The build quality appears to be very good. I have not yet fired it for the first time but the unit is cleanly built and appears well thought out. I liked that they provide the refractory rigidizer as a powder to be applied by the customer as this prevents possible cracking during shipping. BTW they provide plenty. I look forward to using this.Packing was good, though the broken pieces of styrofoam used for the packing filler does make a bit of a mess, but this is more of a personal annoyance than anything else.

It's so much fun to melt. There were other options, but I knew I would kick myself if I didn't get the best. I thought about going with the 4kg instead of the 10kg but I knew I would kick myself if I didn't get the best. Did I really need all the attachments? Maybe just the forge? Nope. All of it, no regrets. The thing rocks.

it is very easy to put together it was also very easy to temper the crucible came very well packaged gets up to temp real fast way faster then my first forge/furnace 10kg holds allot it also came well before the scheduled estimated date it is solid great build you will love it
