We started assembly but the cuts of each piece do not aligned to put the desk together correctly. The bottom back of the cabinet and the slit for the back do not line up. The middle drawer also does not align correctly. Everything is predrilled and cut and there are no alternative ways to put this together. If everything aligned the cabinet would work fine. Without it, it’s a disappointment and overpriced.Of course, I didn’t know that the pieces would not align until it was almost fully assembled. So now I have to take the time to disassemble the unit, repackage it, and drive to the not so local UPS to have it returned. This purchase was more of a hassle than it was worth. I would not recommend buying it.

Assembly is not that easy. Pictures could be clearer. The parts are fragile and white layer cracks when putting screws in. And now I have the biggest challenge- the drawer rails were nonfunctional and won’t go in. I tried pulling out and putting it back in but the balls started coming out. Am trying to reach manufacturer/seller but not yet success. Made another request through Amazon customer support.Some additions after recent interactions:Changing from 1 star to 3 stars. yes all exchanges with their support was through email. It was slow and cumbersome. But they kept their commitment and delivered the replacement part. And I was impressed they even provided a backup for the replacement part. Overall, the shelf is functional and looks good in my room.

I purchase this to go next to my home office desk. It is affordable and the quality is in line with it. It was a bit of a pain to assemble, even as an IKEA pro ;-) Quality is fine for staying there and never moving. I think that the day I have to move it to another location it may not last very long.

This set of drawers was exactly what we needed. It looks great, it is extremely sturdy (even the bottom of the drawer holds up well but just nothing crazy heavy), and the cart moves around with ease. It was pretty intensive to put together but the instructions were laid out well so as long as you're willing to put a little elbow grease in you'll have a great moving cabinet for a great price!

I am happy with the overall look and functionality; however, I question how durable and long lasting this product will be, but only time will tell. First thing I must say about this is that it comes in many pieces and must be assembled. Usually not a big deal; however, the instructions SUUUUCK! I should have set a timer to see how long this took me to build out, but it took the better part of an afternoon to assemble. Once I was able to decipher the diagrams and caught on to the idiosyncrasies, things flowed a little better even though there were some assumptions I had to make during assembly. They included extra piece of hardware, which I liked, and the unit came well packaged with no damage despite some damage to the outside container/box. They did a great job reinforcing the corners to prevent damage, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that, and each piece was protected from scratches caused by shifting in the box. In the end, it all came together and looks great in my office! It would have received five stars had the instructions been more clear and easier to decipher.

I gave it 5 stars, but it's not perfect. Though, I still feel that it deserves the rating. If you dont take your time and carefully follow the instructions, it will turn onto a nightmare. Also, save yourself a LOT of time and use a power screwdriver (or a drill set on low). Even so, it still took me over an hour (less that two) to put this together. I'm no novice at this, but I knew going in it was going to be time consuming (per other reviews) since it comes completely flat. It's a veneered MDF and so far the veneer has held up nicely. There were places where it chipped but that was not visible. I could see where breaking/chipping could occur on the locking disk things (honestly don't remember what they're called) if they get over-tightened. You can set hanging folders in the drawer in a left to right setup, front to back or a mix of the 2. The drawer pulls out very far, so if you go front to back, the rearmost files can still be accessed. It fits my all-in-one on top very nicely and I still have plenty of room for other items. The front faces match my desk, which was the main draw to this. It is very sturdy and has minimal jiggle when I shake it. I am very happy with my purchase.
