How to Ensure an Orderly and Accurate Counting Operation:
The DETECK DT5 Portable Money Counter is suitable for most of the paper currencies in the world. It can count up to 600 Bills/min which saves you a lot of time to focus on your business operation.
For an accurate count, please make sure to:
1. Place same-sized bills in an orderly manner, flat and not folded or damaged
2. Count more than once to ensure accuracy
Remember this device is not equipped with a banknote recognition function:
1. It can only count the number of banknotes.
2. It doesn't provide the total value of the count
3. It doesn't have Counterfeit Detectors
Counting Features
The "ADD" function can be used to count multiple stacks of bills without the need of a calculator. Press "Start" to count a new stack of bills and "ADD" button to add the quantity of several stack of bills to the total count.
Security Thread Detection
Every modern bill has integrated UV security features that only show up under ultraviolet light at a certain frequency. The DT5 is designed to help you verify these features and identify counterfeit bills. Press the UV/WM button to activate the ultraviolet light.
Watermark Detection
US money printed after 1996 has an imbedded watermark portrait which mirrors the portrait in the center of the bill. Press the UV/WM button twice to activate the watermark light. Hold the bill over the light to see the watermark.

I purchased this unit due to its size so I could travel with it. It's far to clumsy to be an effective money counter and I found it was only accurate half the time. A quarter of the time it was inaccurate and the other quarter it would just error out despite the bills all being neatly stacked.

The lightest crease on a bill really makes the difference in accuracy but it would only be off by 1-3 numbers. And it does give you an error message indicating when itโs potentially incorrect. Itโs definitely worth the money

I donโt have the product with me because I got this for work and itโs currently over there but it works perfectly! : ) and I use it pretty much everyday. So hereโs a thumbs up picture so you know Iโm telling the truth.
