I opened the kit and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the blanket. It is very soft and seems to be durable. The design is clearly printed. The design key is over 2 pieces of paper. I would have preferred one large piece of paper, but that is my preference and does not impact ability to understand key or directions.I was a bit concerned about comments in the past about amount of floss, but like other recent reviews, found the amount of floss to be sufficient. Instructions state to contact seller for additional floss if needed. Floss came on a paper holder. I wrapped mine on cardboard bobbins that I have.The blanket can fit in a standard embroidery hoop without straining. A quilt hoop is not needed.The design is very cute and I look forward to finishing it!Very pleased with this purchase!

Easy instructions once you figure out which color is which. Handy to have floss in an organizer, but the labels with color names on the wrapped skeins would be better.

I think my order was a return order. The thread was hanging an a thread holder, no number for colors. The numbers on how many stands for colors never matched - was shorted. Had a hard time with figuring the browns, yellows-and rust. No gray or purple included. I will keep it and hope it turns out.

It’s a lot of work not done yet but it will be beautiful!! The cross stitch printed on fabric it very easy to follow just loving the way it’s coming out

Design Works Crafts apologizes for the shortage of threads included in this kit. We have discovered that the floss in the kit was not nearly enough to complete the quilt, due to a computer error in calculating the amounts to include. We have now increased the amount of floss included in these kits. Please note that the kit you receive may have LONG 60" lengths of floss which need to be cut in half before counting and stitching. If your kit does not have 14 - 36" lengths or 9 - 60" lengths of WHITE floss, you have a kit that was assembled before we increased the amounts. Please contact us to receive additional floss for the kit. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope you enjoy completing this lovely quilt.

The design is very cute! I am about halfway done, and have already run out of 10 colors!! Also, the stamped design is very faint in places. Might think twice before buying this brand again.

Super cute but there is nowhere near enough floss to complete this kit. Already out of the dark green for the leaves and I’m only about 25% of the way done with them. Expecting the same problem with the rest

I have done cross stitch kits for years, 20 plus. This is the first kit that did not have enough thread to finish the kit. Every color ran out. Will never do a janlynn product again
