I purchased this spray to seal some Christmas cards I had made using Distress Mica Stains. The mica on the cards was rubbing off on my hands. This spray sealant performed beautifully, preventing any further mica transfer. Some other reviewers said it added shine but I took a chance. I found it was a completely invisible matte finish that dried fairly quickly and left no residue. I am delighted with the results.

It sprays on clean and even and it dries very quickly. Are used one or two coats on some big rocks I painted with acrylic paint. So far so good.

I wanted to protect the top of a coffee table. I took it outdoors, but when I started spraying, it made a powdery film on the table. I don't know if it needs to be only a certain type of surface you use this on, but it didn't do what it says on the can.

Dries fast, allowing for quick layering. I wish I'd ordered something giving a glossier coat though, but I knew it was matte, so my bad.

Matte finish spray...I do like the Design Master brand, and as a florist, have had lots of experience with this line. I tend to lend toward this brand because I am familiar with it, and like the results. It did cost quite a bit more than from . a local store, but I didn't have time to go shopping--we live very rural, and it isn;'t always convenient to drop everything run to the "big city" 45 minutes away, when I can get it in 2 days online.

This is an absolute must for many of the techniques on card making. Keeps the surface exactly as you want it. No rubbing off of inks or glitters.

I use Design Master Clear Matte varnish exclusively on every piece that goes out of our shop. It doesn't drip or leave clumps of varnish, and leaves the piece with a durable matte finish!
