This mask is durable and must be reasonably comfortable because my horse has not made extreme efforts to get it off, which is usually his number one goal. And he also has an issue with sweet itch so he's often rubbing and rolling which makes it hard to keep a fly mask on him. But this one has been great AND I bought it because of the yellow reflective piece thinking it would make it easier to find in the field when he rubbed it off. Fortunately, that I haven't had that issue yet! Would definitely buy this again.

Beautiful mask, if your horse lives in a padded cell... Mine was rendered useless and on the ground in under 24 hrs.

Sturdy well made. Love the fringe. At 1st my horse didn't know what to do with the fringe but he is a Paint and the flies LOVE him. This actually keeps the flies off so much better. I can see his facial expressions through the mesh too. Very nice mask. He just seems less miserable=awesome!

THE GOOD: Love that its my Thoroughbred well, falling below his cheek bones that get rubbed by other fly masks. THE BAD: Had to re-stitch where the ear joined the crown because the stitching was bad (didn't catch the edge of the fleece ring around the ear). Got tired of walking the pasture everyday to find it, so cut off the nose fringe and ears, hoping that will reduce the "horsing around" and keep it on his face (this worked well, the fringe and ears are too tempting to other horses). Faded quickly. Not very durable, had to retire it within 6 weeks because it fell apart.

It's a good quality mask, but the sizing is WAY off. I purchased a horse size and received a mask that's large enough for my Clydesdale mare! Its massive... overall I'm happy with the mask but only because I happened to have another horse to fit it.

The size is WAY too big. If you have a horse that has a smaller (close to or is a cob sized) face, don’t waste your money.
