Used with a thermo clutch on an 1981 F100 300 cid. Added radiator and shroud from a 1996 F series that had the larger radiator.

Well built sturdy clutch fan. Had to remove some paint from flange where fan centers on clutch for proper fit. No big deal. Works perfect on my 70 pontiac lemans.

The fan blade works fine and seems to be solid. Does what it should. Installation required some re-drilling and filing of the pilot holes. They were off just enough that the mounting screws would have stripped the threading of the clutch had I forced them. After using my calipers the holes for mounting to the clutch were clearly off, 2 of the holes were off just by 1/32nd. Not the width of the hole, but its location. Wasn't difficult to remedy the situation, but I expected more from Derale at that price point. If it wasn't mail ordered I would have just returned it... Next time around Ill consider a different brand to be honest.

Used to replace the stock 3 blade clutch fan on my Chevy 350 std rotation fan. Not overly loud. Fit right on the clutch. Moves a lot of air.
