No issues with these fittings. Sealed perfectly. If you have problems with leaks watch a vid on brass compression fittings install.

Great quality fittings. I used these to make connections from my transmission lines on 2005 Chrysler Town and Country to a replacement Hayden transmission cooler. All solid connections with no leaks.

These IMHO, unfortunately, are not "Derale quality" by any means. They leak and it doesn't matter if you use Teflon tape, Rector Seal slow set, soft set with Teflon, etc. as they are going to leak on you; guaranteed to leak no matter what! I bought the Derale 13900 Electra-cool, their 13011 Fluid control thermostat, 13091 Transmission filter kit, hoses, clamps and other accessories to keep my 7.3 diesel cool whilst pulling my RV. Everything works great, except for these line connectors. See picture for leak found after driving 459 miles pulling my RV. But wait, I did a leak test and drove it over 100 miles before I ever put it under a load and had zero leaks! So maybe it's a heat issue? But isn't that what they are made for? Regardless, I lost too much fluid, not one of my other connections leaked, and get this: The system is very low pressure - only 7lbs pressure (Ford mechanic told me that). I have seven other connections that I installed that work perfectly - NO leaks. These Leak! I have tightened them up beyond normal, tried Teflon tape, pipe dope, and the threads (I'm guessing) must expand under a long heat load due to the fact that it is not real brass (Chinese brass imitator?). Maybe I received a crummy pair?? Regardless, I do not recommend them and I would caution anyone using them that values their vehicle as major damage can occur if you leak out too much fluid. The only thing that saved me was the fact that I had additional fluid in the system due to the other added equipment, otherwise, I'd be out 4k for a new Metric trans. Keep in mind that the other Derale equipment that I installed worked flawlessly, these just didn't, so maybe they were made on a Monday morning? Who knows....

The compression side of this fitting works great and clamps on tight to the transmission line. You have to use teflon tape on the pipe fitting side to avoid any leaks. Not a bad solution but if someone came up with a better design, it would be worth the price.
