This recovery suit seems like it would work well for a female cat, but I don't think it's suitable for a male cat. The neck opening was a perfect fit for my cat, but there’s quite a bit of extra fabric around his rear, allowing him the opportunity to reach and groom himself if he wanted to. If I were to choose a smaller size, the neck would likely be too constricting. I did take measurements before purchasing, but the sizing feels a bit off. Ultimately, since he can't use the bathroom while wearing it, I won't be keeping it. It doesn't seem ideal for male cats, in my opinion.

My cat had to have a mass removed. Got this to stop him from messing with the scar. It fit well and looked good, but unfortunately it was far too easy for him to escape from it, making it fairly useless for him. Would work great on a chill cat who doesn't care but if they're a bit sneaky they will find their way out

This onesie is true to size, but the arms can run up when your cat is active. The material is thin and not top-notch quality, but I think it's good for the summer.

Got this to try on my young cat, to calm him down when he's "spicy". It works, but he kind of locks up and won't move - so...I guess it's doing what it's supposed to! Wanted to help him sleep through the night, and help when we go to clip his nails. Recommend.

Whoever designed this suit has never actually interacted with a kitten before. The only opening is in the back means that it is a fight and a half to get this onto a squirming animal that potentially has stitches. It also has no stretch in any of the openings, so getting it over parts larger than it's meant for - i.e. getting the head thru the neck hole is impossible. If you're looking for a "recovery" suit then look for one with velcro in the back to make it easier to get on the kitten/cat.

For my cat, this is better than a cone. It kept her away from the surgical stitches while she healed.

I have seven week old kittens that are nearing the age of being able to be spayed. I wanted to get them used to wearing this before the surgery so as to not tear the stitches after surgery. I ordered an xs. It did not fit. The head opening was a squeeze to get on. The kitties were able to pull their legs up into the leg opening and were getting them stuck. Even with their legs fully out of the openings they could not walk. The back was a little long but (had the kitten stopped fighting me) could be shortened with the Velcro. After trying to get this on the kitten I realized there is no way this would work after surgery. I had to move and maneuver the kitten so much to get it on it would have torn open any stitches. I'm glad I did a test run before the surgery. I think I'll invest in something that can be opened completely and the cat placed into it.

We used this to try to keep my cat from scratching a sore spot. It worked great. I liked that it had longer sleeves on the arms. He didn't like putting it on, but wore it without complaint!

I could see this being a good recovery suit for a female cat, but not a male cat. I tried it on my 5 month old male kitten & he definitely would not be able to urinate while wearing this without peeing all over himself, even after I loosened the velcro to lower it on his bum area a bit. The neck opening fit my cat perfectly, however there is a lot of excess fabric near his backend so if he wanted to he could definitely shift it around to lick himself. If I sized down the neck would be too tight. I did measure my cat before ordering, the sizing just seems a little wonky. Overall because he won't be able to use the bathroom while wearing this anyways I won't be using it. Not great for male cats as far as I can tell.

i was so anxious to leave my cat overnight with or without a cone and this was a perfect solution. it’s stretchy, easy to throw in the wash, and it fit my 5 month old kitten

Le tissu n'est pas résistant. Après quelquefois, les rebords s'effilochent. Le col s'étire trop.

I really liked the look and the quality of this recovery suit. I used it to give my little boy a break from wearing a cone, and he was very comfortable wearing it.The only thing is that you have to watch them when they need the toilet so you can undo the body suit so they can pee and poo.
