I have a pre 2006 delta 13/14 monitor using the RP19804 cartridge. When I was ordering I was very skeptical how universal this would be given the information online was ambiguous. I can confirm you can use this trim with the older setup, you don’t switch the cartridge and you use the old sleeve as the new one is too short.

I recently had a plumber install a new shower valve made by Delta so was told I needed to buy the faucet by Delta as well. I ordered this because in store options were too limited. I only needed the shower faucet, not the kit or showerhead to match. Amazon to the rescue! It was so easy to install. I did it myself. It works well and looks good. The modern makes it really easy to wipe/squeegee dry after a shower.

Has a no scald feature. Need to adjust it or your water won't be warm enough.

This trim kit is an easy replacement for the trim kit on Single Handle Delta Monitor showers. I've shown photos of the traditional (original) trim kit as well as what it looks like after replacing it. One thing that may not be obvious is that this kit comes with a new replacement cartridge. Replacing the trim itself is easy but removing the old cartridge and replacing it with a new one may involve more work depending on how much calcium and lime buildup is inside the control body.
