The faucet looks great and easy for installation, the touch on/off function can save water, but it is a little expensive..

Bought this faucet as an open-box/used item - saved a lot of money and installation was a breeze. I do not see anything wrong with the faucet. No scratches, no missing parts. The box was beat up - but who cares.

This is the second such faucet that I purchase. The magnetic holder works extremely well. Very easy to install. Delta parts are readily available. Great faucet.

I wanted a Delta pull-down kitchen faucet for my renovation. My old one was 18” tall and too tall for my sink which is in the island open concept to living room. I needed quality, good looks, sleek modern style, short and discreet as possible,pull-down swivel faucet with sprayer, brushed stainless finish. This Delta Essa Bar/Prep arctic stainless finish was my choice after copious amounts of research. It is shortest gooseneck pull-down ai could find at 14”tall. It works beautifully and looks great on my new quartz kitchen island. I bought the Delta Monroe soap dispenser as well, the finish and style matches the Essa perfectly. Bought the Kraus SS single bowl 23”sink, happy we downsized from those huge 33+inch double bowl sinks which are way too big nowadays. Love the Delta Essa, much nicer than my old Moen. Easy install.

After 25 years, my Moen pullout faucet finally wore out. I wanted something better, that rotated more than just 90 degrees, and didn't interfere with my access to the sink, large pans and such. The new Moen's were nice, sized between the large and small Delta faucets. The Delta models put out 1.8 gpm rather than the inadequate 1.5 gpm the Moen's do. That was another thing I was tired of. But I worried the Bar Sink version was too small. I was wrong. It was just right. Indeed, it looks huge after my old Moen faucet. The stream of water hits the center of the sink, where it should, not like the large Delta that people complained about for splashing water on the floor. And since it is a pull out, I don't need it to be so big anyway. I can direct water anywhere I want. The spray setting is too strong, bouncing off and creating a mess. My old Moen put out a gentle spray with lots of water that needed to be stronger pressure. Be careful what you wish for. But I do find that it is OK if I turn the water volume down, giving a strong spray with little water used. Still, it would be great if they could make it less intense. The pull out function works great, better than my old Moen. The sliding weight on the Delta works well, very smooth, and retracts with just the right amount of tension. The magnetic lock is wonderful, my favorite feature. If this faucet lasts 25 years like the Moen it replaces, I will be very pleased. We shall see.

The installation process of this faucet was very easy, but I give 4 stars as the flex tubes are not so flexible (at least them seem to last forever). The faucet is beautiful, very good finish, and the water mixer is very good but not perfect. Although my sink is not so big (unfortunately) the pulldown spray is very useful and it was the main feature for the purchase. The touch2o feature seems some silliness but after little time you find it a must - sometimes I touch the bathroom faucet by mistake - we are very trainable creatures just like dogs :-)My only "complain" is the price - I went for a "like new" and it was a great buy, all the parts were sealed inside the plastic bags yet, but even that was not a bargain! Let's see how is the quality over time, I hope it pays the price...

We're in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Doing it ourselves, so we're dealing with a lot of extended "in the middle." Since there are many options for purchase here, this is the model I purchased: (Delta Faucet 9913T-AR-DST Essa Single Handle Bar/Prep Faucet with Touch2O Technology and MagnaTite Docking, Arctic Stainless $187.94 - keep in mind that the prices do change frequently for things like this. I've seen this model in the $250 range on Amazon as well).I ordered the touch technology arctic stainless faucet to replace the IKEA faucet I originally had bought to go with my IKEA farmhouse sink with apron. I loved the sink, but was ultimately unhappy with the IKEA faucet from a functionality standpoint. The IKEA faucet did not have enough of an angle, so the water essentially went straight down the drain so we had to lean into the sink much further just to wash our hands or do anything. Additionally, the sprayer was not nearly as powerful as I would have liked, despite the fact our water pressure is fine. The Delta faucet is fantastic. My husband found the faucet to be easy to install. We did not use the baseplate (they call it an escutcheon). To me, the baseplate would look out of place on a farmhouse sink with apron. Perhaps there are sinks where it would look right, but not mine. You can leave the faucet in the on position and then touch any spot on the faucet except the retractable part of the nozzle to turn the faucet on/off. At first, we were getting drips after turning the faucet off, but it was because we did not have the faucet pulled into the on position all the way. If it's on all the way, it'll come on full force and there will be no drips when we turn it off. The sprayer is awesome and the hose is really long. It also retracts and locks into place perfectly with the dock locking mechanism.I saw on similar faucets where people thought the "eye" at the base was a sensor like those automatic faucets that some public bathroom sinks have; that's not what this is, obviously. The color on the "sensor" will be blue when the color is cool. It is red when it's hot. It is somewhere in the middle of a red/blue but not exactly blended purple color when it's not 100% cold nor hot. The sensor only lights up while the water is running. Oh, I didn't realize that the batteries would be shipping with the touch technology pack, so that was a pleasant surprise. It's not as tall as the first faucet from IKEA, but that's fine. It actually makes it easier to get to the window because it's only 14.5 inches tall. We've only had it installed for a few weeks, but I can tell you already that as much as I like it, the only visual problem that I have is just how spotty it gets. Unfortunately, it is not spot resistant. The other thing is that if I'm filling a pot of water, I find that I accidentally turn off the water from bumping the pot into the faucet. So the faucet can even be affected by the touch of a pot, not just your hand.I find that I try touching the faucet in the bathroom now, which I find so funny! I do love the ease of just touching the faucet when my hands are covered in something. It is SO convenient. If you are debating if this is worth it, it is. When you consider the price for a new faucet and see that the cost of this one with touch technology is less than some faucets without, you have to go for this!Overall, happy with this purchase. Pleased to have found same Delta faucet here for sale on Amazon for much less than in stores. Excuse the "ugly no backsplash" look going on in my pictures, but again. . .remodel.EDIT: It's been about 5 months and we still have not had to replace the batteries, and the faucet gets a lot of daily use.EDIT: We replaced the batteries Christmas week, so we're looking at a nearly nine-month shelf life. The faucet began to flash when we tapped it on, with the colors flashing from blue to red to blue to red. That was the signal. So with three people in the house and everyone using the faucet on a regular basis, I don't think that people really need the adapter. I think batteries will hold up for you just fine.
