The faucet feels very stable and sturdy, and everything works smoothly. Installing the water taps looks to be very easy and standard. It plugs into my existing lines with no problem. Unfortunately, the directions for installing the soap dispenser are a wee bit confusing, so I'm going to have to do a bit of research to make sure I do it right. That said, the build quality feels very good, heavy, and sturdy, so I think it will be okay, but be prepared to have to figure the soap dispenser out for yourself.Additional note: if you go to the Amazon page for this product, there is an installation video (toward the bottom for me) which helped clarify the soap dispenser installation. It's actually pretty simple. Just wanted to clarify in case anyone reading this is a bit of plumbing neophyte like I am.

Reviewing Aktines Bar Sink Faucet with Built-in Soap Dispenser, We just put a bar in our basement and the last thing to do is install a faucet in the bar sink. This is the perfect faucet. It’s mid-size, rather than small like a bathroom faucet, or large like kitchen faucet. The color matches our cabinet hardware, and it has a built-in soap dispenser, making it perfect to save space on the bar.We have not installed it yet, because we have a few more renovations to do before we’re ready to install it but it’s a standard install. The easiest type to install, with a separate line for hot and cold intake. The handle is easy to rotate for hot/cold and the faucet itself is easy to rotate from side to side.My only complaint is that the soap bottle/container is not held in place, under the faucet. It’s just free floating, meaning the line that goes from the faucet to the container is the only thing connecting it to the faucet. You have to set it under the sink, on the cabinet, which means it’s easy to get knocked over, and while the soap doesn’t spill out of it if it gets knocks over, if it isn’t full, the pump can’t pump it out because if the bottle is on its side, the soap might not be covering the end of the hose. All it would take is a little clamp attached to the bottom of the faucet. Not sure why they skimped on that part. Rating 4 stars.

I got this for a small bathroom sink, which had separate hot/cold faucets and was really obnoxious to use with the very hot water temperature or cold spigot. This single handle faucet makes choosing a temperature a breeze, and blends the water like any faucet should. Installation was quick after removing one of the old faucets. The two water hoses and soap hose went through the hole in the small porcelain sink, and I was happy to see the base pipe fit through snugly. The included base nut with a super large plastic extension makes tightening easy without tools. The attached hot and cold water hoses with 3/8 female compression ends were just what I needed to attach to the stop valves, and their length was adequate. It did take over 50 pumps to get soap drawn up the hose and coming out the little spigot, but it's a nice feature which I haven't seen yet. Since the installation is on a boat, it's nice to have a fixed soap dispenser to avoid a soap bottle flying around in weather and draining in the sink or on the floor. The spout and base are fairly lightweight, but when secured to the sink it feels sturdy enough. The 6" spout offset is adequate for a small sink, but one might think about putting a swivel or sprayer head if using for larger sinks. I'm happy I chose this faucet and am enjoying both the single handle control and the integrated soap dispenser. I would definitely buy again from Aktines and recommend this faucet.

This is a handsome little bar sink faucet that, at this price-point, is a reasonable purchase for a secondary sink application. It's definitely designed for a smaller sink e.g. (kitchenette, bar, bathroom) and is not of the grade one would expect from the bigger manufacturers.The integrated soap dispenser is a clever idea since most bars will not have a hole for a separate dispenser.I'd say my only criticism is that the base of the faucet doesn't clamp down ultra tight so it tends to rock just a little bit when you swivel the top of the unit. This is largely because the base doesn't have much of a substantial footprint and also because you can only hand tighten the "nut" that is provided. It's not designed to be able to put a wrench on it. While this might seem convenient for installation (and it was) it comes at the cost of not being able to get the unit tight against the countertop.Otherwise, a decent unit.
