My faucet stopped working after 17 years. Pulled the solenoid so I could use the faucet and started looking for a replacement solenoid only to find my dead part was discontinued. Checked on Delta's parts site and found the new part number and bought it on Amazon. Installed the new one and added an AC adapter so I could skip the batteries. It works perfectly.

I was told by Delta customer service that this was the part that would work with my Delta kitchen faucet. My plumber installed it and it would not work. At times when the faucet was tapped it would not turn on the water. At other times it would turn on by itself and cycle turning on and off.When the part was installed and the wire for the light was plugged in the faucet would not work at all. I am going to return the part and replace the faucet with another brand.

My kitchen faucet was completely out of commission after being demoed and realizing these items had been removed from the new faucet box. It came very quickly and did the trick. It was a little pricey, but it was my best option.

Didn't take much work to replace this. It slotted in the same as the old replacement one. However there one caution is that there are so many of these assemblies from delta, had to contact their customer support to make sure I got the right model. I did however had to use an existing old clip part. I also purchased an AC adapter so I do not have to deal with changing batteries. I am happy with the replacement.

Simple to install (once you manage to lever yourself under the kitchen sink).As an added benefit, the new version has a better battery pack and it now operates the temp sensor to tell you (via a red light) that the water is hot, which the original unit did not do.

Be ready to replace this approx. every 3-4 years after the solenoid fails. Just ordered my 3rd unit. Easy to install and works well but not made for longevity or robustness, prone to failure and way overpriced for what it is. My wife loves the touch feature otherwise I would just get rid of this and use the basic tap on/off. The more complex something is, the more there is to go wrong.

I am happy I could find a replacement solenoid to keep the functionalities of my Delta Touch faucet. However, I am frustrated that I have to go to this pricey replacement after only 4 years because Delta uses a very fragile piece of plastic as a basket filter for the solenoid. The filter broke, and debris damaged the solenoid. This is my second Delta Touch faucet, and it is the second one that has the exact same issue. My problem is that I know it will happen again in 4-5 years. I wish Delta had a better solution for the tiny basket filter.

I get that things ware out, but this is a simple solenoid, everything else on the faucet has a lifetime warranty, just not the solenoid so they should be lower cost to replace.

I’ve had a Delta Touch2O faucet for about 5 years and recently it stopped working. I contacted Delta and they troubleshooted with me to figure out it was a dead solenoid and I needed a replacement. They hate me the model number which I searched and found this piece. Install was simple and it worked even better than the previous part.
