If you enjoy Mediterranean food or just want to incorporate more Mediterranean dishes into your diet then this compilation from Delish is a great book to have on hand. From the online pics I thought the book would be soft covered, but it isn't. It has a nice hard cover but with a sturdy spiral binding. Perfect to open all the way & lay flat or insert into a vertical cookbook holder, which I happen to have.The over 75 recipes in this book are wonderfully varied, from starters, snacks, sides, soups, salads, entrees & sweets. Every recipe includes serving size, prep time, nutrition info per serving and a gorgeous photograph of the completed dish, I always find that helpful along with a short introduction from the recipe author. I appreciate that the majority of the ingredients are ones you probably already have in your pantry or are readily available. In the rare case there's a slightly exotic ingredient, they always offer an alternative.What attracted me to this book is that it uses so many of my favorite foods, artichokes, lemons, rice, cannellini beans, feta, arugula, kalamata olives, chickpeas, salmon, etc in new and delicious ways. It's a well written book, the recipes are easy to follow & many can be made in one pot. I have my eye on the Creamy Chicken Spanakopita Bake & everything's in my pantry except for the frozen phyllo sheets which I'll pick up at the store later.I'm really looking forward to trying out all these great recipes.

I'll start by saying that I love the layout of this cookbook and the fact that it's spiral-bound, which makes it easy to lay flat and not lose my place. The font is a little small, but the pictures are nice. I have two other Delish recipe books that are just as great, and I use them regularly, so this one fits in perfectly on my kitchen bookshelf. I have tested a few recipes, including the One-Pan Summer Vegetable Ragù, Homemade Hummus, Mediterranean Chickpea Salad, and the Low-Carb Turkey Gyro Bowls, and each turned out perfectly.If you want to add more Mediterranean cuisine to your diet, this is a great recipe book to help you expand your horizons!

Each recipe has a full page picture, and the recipes aren’t fussy. All of the ingredients are easy to get. The only one I couldn’t find in a grocery store was Aleppo pepper, so I ordered it online. It’s almost the same as crushed chili pepper like pizza packets.The full page pictures are VERY helpful, especially because they let my elderly dad pick what he wants and stick to his “mediterranean diet” that he proudly tells everyone at his cardio gym about.I appreciate the spiral binding because the book lays flat on the counter and stays open.
