I teach middle school grades and have been using this planner for 20 years. I love it! I love that each day of the week is set up vertically so that I can see my day in a column. There's plenty of room for me to record my plan for each class along with any pertinent notes. This morning, to my shock, I discovered that I am on my last week of pages for planning! This has never happened before and now I am forced to buy another planner in order to finish the year. I just counted the pages from last year's planner, and this year's is about 12 weeks short. That's infuriating. I will be looking for a new planner for next year. It's ridiculous to not be able to make it through the school year with one planner.

In the past years, I bought this planner for my weekly class planning. This year, I ordered the same thing, but three of them to be prepared for the next couple of years. Two of them were the same quality product as previous years, but one was clearly defective, with a full planner of nothing but students class lists. I attached a picture. All pages are what you see. There are no weekly pages. I will try to return that one, although I don't have the box anymore. I hope the seller makes it right. I would give five stars if they made it right, but 30% of my order is unusable at this point. Edited to reduce stars. I can only get a replacement if I pay to return the defective planner. The manufacturer did not return my call, which was the suggested "best" way to solve this. I have now missed the return window because the manufacturer did not respond. I will not be buying this planner again. The quality control is lacking, based on other reviews and my own experience. It's a shame since the layout and utility is good. They have lost a long-time customer.

Tissue paper. Not worth the money. Cheap paper and see ink through the other side of the paper. Obvious statement - Company more interested in profit than quality of product delivered to the customer. Don’t believe me? Go to WalMart, their “Exceed” Wal-Mart brand has better paper quality than an actual Roaring Springs Paper Products.

I'm sure I have reviewed at least one of these books before; Amazon insists I provide a new review.Plan books are great values on the basis of paper-for-money. I love the layout--I am not a teacher; I use the spreads to keep track of various next-step tasks for a handful of projects. I can start a new spread at the drop of a hat. I can go horizontal, or vertical when I need to. Date the pages and keep a record and move along. It's way easier to work in a paper system than it is to figure out any of the latest bell-and-whistle online systems that force you to have your computer turned on before you can work.

After much searching on Amazon and other sites, I decided to go with this plan book instead of a girlier or frillier one. Although there are cute ones out there, this one served my purpose perfectly! I teach elementary school, and this had enough space for me to jot down my lessons for each day. I love that the days of the week are vertical and not horizontal, so my entire day is mapped out from top to bottom. The eight horizontal rows are exactly what I was looking for. I do wish that it had a space for the weekend, but I use a calendar app for personal things anyway. The pocket behind the front cover is very convenient to hold important papers or notes. Mine came in blue. The cover is starting to wear very lightly at the corners after about 3 months of use, but it is sturdy enough that I trust it will stay together as long as I'll be using it. Overall, great product!

Best planner for me - have enjoyed using it for years. Best parts: 1 - full sized, sturdy pockets for bell schedules, sub plans, testing schedules, etc. that you need to get your hands on 2 - Vertical organization so that you only have to have HALF of the book opened at a time to see what is on the schedule - no need to have the entire planner opened, taking up unnecessary room on your desk 3 - VERY sturdy - mine last all year, every year, looking as new at the end of the year as it did at the beginning of the year 4 - wire spine never unravels, bends, or changes in appearance from Day 1 and 5 - plenty of room for eight planning periods daily, room on the sides of the week for reminders to self. LOVE THIS PLANNER! The only down side for some - you don't get to choose the color of your choice - and who doesn't love magenta! I'll trade them - take my green planners any day! Seriously, they're all great colors!

I've been using this planner for 17 years. Opened it has a nice grid that includes columns for class period/subject, notes, and MTWThF. It has about 8 rows (not 100% sure on that count, since I've never used them all.) Each square has plenty of room to write details. There are pages in the front for seating charts, as well. It's my go-to book year after year. I'm happy to find it here so that I don't have to hop from one office supply store to another to find this specific book.

I order this one every year and appreciate it every time. It's got seating charts, class schedules, and eight planning periods for a Monday-Friday schedule, and it has enough weeks for a long school year. Definitely recommended for teacher planning purposes!
