It doesn't seem like much but my husband was so happy that the battery was included with this saw! We've purchased so many cordless things like fans, etc. that require a large investment in batteries, so he was happy upon opening it! He loved the attached guide to help in cutting straight. It's lightweight yet offers a good cut. He is super happy with this saw and immediately got rid of his older one!

I love it, except any time it binds, you will have to remove the battery and put it back in, maybe this is a common issue across all platforms? Still way better then needing a cord and power source. to be honest I've only used it to cut about ten 24"x24" mudboards. It cut through 5/8" osb plywood no problem.. I don't use this saw for extensive work, So I'm happy with it! The laser guide is a nice addition but it's not quite bright/strong enough for outdoor use, although it IS powered by the main battery which is cool but easy to turn on accidentally, so id suggest remove the battery when your done working for the day. I would recommend this for anyone that doesnt cut wood all day long,, only because off brand tools is an invitation for your work friends to make fun of you for not buying the name brand, but it makes any job on scaffold or above ground level wayyyyy more enjoyable. I will Come back in a couple months and let you guys know if it's worth the 5 stars or not 😁
