Our contractors were frustrated putting this in as they could not get the seat tightened satisfactorily. It wobbled slightly on one side.Worse, though, upon regular use, is that it loosens on both sides and slides -- at least once a day I am having to grab both sides of the seat and pull it back forward over an inch, and swing it to one side and center it -- highly annoying!The height is wonderful. (My husband and I are both seniors).We have the toilet in a small enclosed on 3 sides toilet room in our newly remodeled bathroom. Our prior toilet sat against the wall of our bedroom. We moved the toilet space so that this new toilet sits on the outside wall. Our primary purpose for doing so was to have less toilet noise, but this toilet is just as noisy (maybe noisier?) than our older toilet was. Very disappointed. We spent money putting in a heated floor so that we would be warm and comfortable and have a quieter flush (so we wouldn't wake each other up during the night). No such luck.Also, we find we have to flush two and three times quite often, as the flushes do not clean the bowl. No water savings there.I wish there were more 21 inch seats on the market, and hope the near future will see great improvements in flush noise, cleaning ability using less water, and seats that stay put!We have written Deer Valley 'contact us' (were asked to submit videos to show each issue), asked at local stores, checked with our contractors, asked friends and neighbors, been googling for tips to resolve any of these dissatisfactions, but nothing helpful yet.*TIP: We have added rubber washers underneath and replaced the thin rubber washers that came with the toilet for on top, under the chrome covers), and this has helped some.

Excellent height! Love love love the toilet. Me being a taller person, 6’3”, the old knees struggle to get off a 15” toilet. This 21” helps out a lot! Thank you!!!

I loved the toilet itself, but had difficulty installing the toilet seat. After installation and while in use, the toilet seat has a tendency to move forward, backward, or side to side; following the direction of one’s body movement. It doesn’t seem to be stable. The toilet fixtures are modern and beautiful, but unstable. I love the height, and ease of cleaning the toilet. Thank you. V. S.

The toilet comes with everything that's needed for a good installation. It flushed differently compared to the usual commodes and requires less water. An outstanding value for the money. I wish I had gotten it earlier instead of buying booster seats.

I purchased and installed this toilet for my parents who are retired/disabled. This product has eliminated the need for a raised seat keeping the fixture cleaner and safer. The movement in the raised seat vers the toliet fixture having the total height is no longer a safety concern. Completely worth the cost! I also installed this toliet in my master ensuite being so impressed with this product...

Absolutely love it! Perfect for very tall people. 6’2 and up with long legs. I am partially handicapped and this toilet is awesome. The only drawback is that I had to replace the internals because the water saver unit inside did not allow for enough water to enter the bowl to properly clean. A cost of $100. Now it can handle anything.

The testing unit arrived in good condition. It is double boxed and all components are secure inside in smaller boxes. It comes in a single large heavy box that requires a team lift. It weighs over 100 lbs and if a single delivery person has to deliver it, they likely won't be able to carry it up stairs. If that is your situation you may likely need to assist or have someone home to assist. You will likely need assistance to get it into your home.This is the first extra tall at 21" seating height that I have seen. Standard chair or comfort height seats are usually between 16.5" - 18" tall. The extra 3" height will be noticeable and very evident. If you have frequent constipation or use a squatty potty leg elevating bench you will likely want to keep it around for this toilet. If you are over 6' tall or elderly or have back pains, you may find great benefit to this extra height.The flushing action is very good. I like this type of swirling action where the water enters from around the rim and swirls its way down the bowl, cleaning it as it goes. The dual flush button work fine and are easy to distinguish and actuate. Flushing is relatively quiet and likely won't wake up others sleeping nearby.A matching soft close and comfortable seat is included. The assembled toilet has a clean and sleek look. It is easy to keep clean and looks great with a variety of different interior design styles. It fits a standard 12" rough-in. A great fixutre from DeerValley. 5 stars.
