Transmitter opreations
The transmitter will operate the remote receiver from 1 foot to a maximum of 30 feet. The distance is reduced when batteries are low or when the receiver is inside a metal enclosure.

Due to the sensitive temperature monitoring components in the transmitter,it is necessary to allow the transmitter to stabilize to room temperature before accurate room temperature are displayed, If the transmitter is activated from a severe cold condition allow 15 minutes for accurate temperature reading to appear on the LCD.
Please Notice: It requires two (2) “AAA” and four (4) “AA” alkaline batteries, NO Batteries in the box, please prepare it yourself.

Very good kit for remote fireplace control.Used to replace wall switch for on/off,and got the added convenience of thermostat control too.Installation was a breeze and works perfectly.

This is an inexpensive, easy to install, fully functional control. The remote has one major flaw: setting the temperature requires you to click up only. So, if you want to set a lower night-time temp, you have to go to the top of scale, then up from the bottom. Other than that, it's simple to operate, has good range, and works without any other quirks.

Saved money vs local fireplace that wanted 400 dollars which included programmingKey to programming which in my opinion was not mentioned in the instruction. The on/off switch must be in the RS mode
