I use two of these satacked on one another to hold a heldrake and vortex beast togeather. Then another two to hold a defiler and forgefiend with all the extra bits. I used a hobby knife to make tearing the squares easier, and found a couple which werent cut deep enough. The perimeter is a solid piece about 1/4" thick.

Product arrived quick and as advertised. The tear away pieces are easy to remove. It would be nice if there was a perforation at half the thickness on the removable pieces for smaller items. But that's easy enough to fix on the customers end. Very easy to cut to shape to fit the drawers they were going inside. Would buy again.

Fit perfectly in our 19inch rack mount cabinets that we have mounted to our road case for our Midas M32R. We used these foam inserts to hold mics. Worked perfectly. They were easy to cut out and customize to our needs. Highly recommend the quality of foam and ease of use!

The product description states it is a Pick Apart Foam Insert, but what I received was just regular foam with no pre-cut sections. If you need customizable foam for your equipment, this may not be the right choice. The quality is decent.

Excellent product. Came Vac Packed. So I was skeptical at first. Opened it up and it expanded to its full 2” size. Easily removed the small cut out pieces to exact measurements I wanted for my display. Will buy again

The pack came vacuum packed into a super flat package (about 1/2in for all 4 foams). It wasn't until the cat sat on the package and managed to make a tiny hole that they started to expand. Very quickly they expanded to proper full-size and it's clear the foams are excellent and just exactly as described. (you really cant' tell when they are squeezed flat).Excellent and exactly the size I needed.

Nice border, soft foam and good delineation of the squares.

I can see the utility of this product for larger, less intricate items, such as hand tools or similar items. I used it to store my Revolutionary War chess pieces. It worked fine, but it did take some time for this type of application. The individual pre-cut sections make forming the cut outs much easier than trying to cut shaped sections out of one piece foam. I would recommend this product but make sure you have sharp utility blades and scissors.

Overall, this is a good foam for projects. While advertised as 2" thick, it is more like 1-3/4". A lesser dense foam, it is soft enough to cradle sensitive items but firm enough to support them. I like the smaller squares.

I had upgraded my astrophotography cameras, so my pluck foam case no longer fit. I had to trim the outside dimensions to fit my case, but it worked great without the border. Now the cameras, cables, and adapters all have a home that keeps them dry, secure, and safe from scratches.
