The map had ridges in it, you could tell where the paper had literally just been stuck to the round circle, was not a smooth globe as the ridges were noticeable without even touching it. The wood finish was nice at the base however, looks like it could be a classy item to have but the imperfections were too obvious for me.

I know I shouldn't be surprised at how awful this globe is when it was the least expensive one I could find on Amazon, but for over $30 I really thought it would be okay. I suppose one Does have to look closely to see how Scandanavia isn't all there and the lines of latitude don't meet where the sticker that is this map on a sphere was applied. I will be returning this because the point for us was for my children to be able to poor hours over it instead of screens and learn geography. A globe should help give one a clearer understanding of the size of countries in relation to one another. This sadly does not.

A bit pricey for what it is and you could certainly grab something similar for cheaper at Home Goods. It is however very cute and made for a great guest book for our small COVID wedding! Worked perfectly for what I needed it for. It does have some spelling errors and it is small so this wouldn’t be great for a classroom globe.

Some of the "strips" don't seamlessly line up. The base is significantly lighter than what was pictured. I plan to keep it, as it's more for decorative purposes, and I love the size all around.

Bought this for my sister. It's great just a little on the wobbly side. If it is just meant for decoration, it looks abslutely beautiful. If you throw it around like a football, it might fall apart. Think wisely.

A globe has strips that are to align with each other when making it. They clearly messed up a bit when making this. Don't really recommend this globe unless you want a decent decoration on your bookshelf but I am sure there are better options.
