Seems pretty accurate. The only problem is in the company needs to work on it.!!!!!!!!! If it hits the ground fall on the ground for some reason. Completely stops working. Unfortunately, I'm serious. But if you be careful with it, you'll be satisfied. I brought 2 one for outside, of course, only under good weather.

Love it but the buttons don’t work after a few weeks. It reset on its own, to Celsius and back to military time from where I set it, and the up/down and “set” buttons haven’t worked since.

Nice boxing, very nice display that can sit on a desk or wall mounted. Set it up at home before taking it to work to see how it worked, set the alarm for 90 decibels (hearing damage can happen at 85). In the house with a TV on low volume it jumps from 30 to 60 as kinda expected (30 is its lowest mark not zero).But then I coughed and it went to 108 decibels and the alarm went off. I moved it to the other side of the room and then my wife coughed and it went to 105 decibels - both times causing the alarm to go off and required you get up and to hit the button on the side to stop the loud beeping. (average cough is supposed to be around 67 decibels). I got my wife to laugh and it showed 107 decibels from across the room (laughter is supposed to be 65 and granting she might be louder BUT 107 ..she would be breaking eardrums all the time).Pretty display, but not accurate at all, alarm goes off in a quiet room even when set at 90 (beyond hearing damage level) and normal conversation happening in the room.

Original, j'y avais pensé il y a quelques temps pour mesurer le bruit dans les bureaux mais je n'attendais pas à un engin de cette taille :-)Donc oui, il est gros. il est fait pour être posé sur une table avec son pied intégré ou accroché à un mur (vis + chevilles fournis)Dommage que le manuel soit uniquement en Anglais mais on arrive à comprendre.- Affiche de l'heure- Affichage de la température.- Affichage des décibels.- Affichage de l'humidité.LA mesure permanente des décibels est accompagnée d'un pictogramme de petite têt e, souriante, déçu et pas contente en fonction du bruit.J'aime beaucoup la grosseur des caractères qui permettent d'être visible même de loin.Pour l'originalité du produit c'est 5 étoiles, pour le prix de 66€.. 3étoiles...

Misuratore da parete dotato di ampio display da (33,02 cm), che serve innanzitutto ma non soltanto a evidenziare e monitorare il rumore, misurato in decibel (con un range da 30 a 130 decibel) e con tre faccine il cui colore si modifica automaticamente, in rapporto con l'intensità del rumore, facilitando così l'interpretazione dei numeri. È possibile, altresì, impostare una funzione di allarme sonoro, quando si supera una certa soglia di rumore.Su questo monitor sono indicati anche altri parametri: l'ora (in formato 12 o 24 h), la temperatura (in gradi C o F) e il livello di umidità. Questo strumento è di facile utilizzo e offre una visione nitida dei parametri anche a una certa distanza. Funziona con una batteria al litio ricaricabile e nella confezione viene fornito un lungo cavo USB per la ricarica, insieme alle istruzioni (solo in inglese) e due tasselli per il fissaggio a muro; ma sta bene ed è stabile anche appoggiato sulla scrivania o su un ripiano. Purtroppo non è impermeabile, per cui l'uso è limitato all'interno o almeno al riparo.

I was shocked at how quick this decibel meter is the you have it on fast setting. I got this to see how loud my bird gets when she screams and I could not keep up with the fast setting so I switched it to slow and I am still able to see very well with the decibel reading is plus the clock and temp readouts are super bright as well.

This is a great idea, perfect for my environment. I put this in the computer room where it displays time, temperature, and humidity, three of the four most important details in that environment. It's big, bright, and easy to read.But the best feature is what really sets it apart. It's a sound level meter. Most of us don't bother with hearing protection, but with 4 rack A/C units and racks of servers and communications equipment, it's louder than you think. This device not only displays the sound level in decibels, it gives a colorful indication when the level has reached certain levels to let you know when hearing protection is needed.You can adjust the sound detection for fast or slow response, and set an alarm if the noise exceeds a certain level. This is useful for any space where sound level may be a concern.

I was really hoping this would work. I wanted to measure the sound, ambient and people to see whether I think some things are not quite as loud as I think they are (meaning - is it my great hearing). Well, I set it up and it began jumping in measurements. After setting the time, etc, it continued jumping when no sound was being made. Perhaps there is ambient sound from the fridge or my computer, but if it were fluctuating that much, I think it would be audible. That said, I wanted to see if it had any reliable readings and what it came back with from me simply speaking is that I was in the green, then yellow, then green, then red. If fluctuated while the tone, pitch, and volume of my voice remained the same. That makes this pretty unreliable. I wouldn't use it in a classroom; students would need to hold their breath the entire class and then a printer would still cause an exceeded noise alarm. It works, but it's too jumpy to be scientifically relied upon. One instance showed a 10-70 point difference; it went from 30 to over 100 for no discernible reason.

I set this in my stereo cabinet. The instructions are well written with the exception of telling the device to display the temperature in Fahrenheit or have the SPL meter run in average instead of fast mode. Its easy to read and is very responsive to the environment.
