I bought these as a kit to use with my EAD10 module - for a kick, snare and two toms.First off, my bass drum is a 22" Mapex Armory with a wood hoop, fairly standard size, the trigger needed to be built out with a bigger drum bolt and spacers in order to function properly. A few tips to the music and hardware store got me sorted. As I've read elsewhere the triggers are single piezo so it will pick up your snare but not the rimshotsAs of right now I am not able to get my toms functioning without a fairly large rattle, I'm hoping a serious dampening will solve my problem. Maybe in a few weeks I'll be able to play my drums

At first I was a little cautious , but after I researched the triggers I thought…let’s try it. I have used numerous different triggers and wasn’t completely convinced that I had found a trigger for my playing ( Heavy Rock). This is it. For heavy hitters and progressive players. This is your trigger. I would highly recommend. Keep Rockin and playing. SPROCKLOCK

Used ddrum pro triggers FOREVER on my DW, ddrum, and Sonor drums! Dragged the old Peavey RP1000 drums out of mothballs, and, because of the radial bridge design of the drums, can't use the standard triggers. Because my 20y old triggers gave me such good service, decided to try the Red Shots. Worked for a little over 3 months, and then kick stopped working. Trigger was outside Amazon return window. Tried to contact ddrum, but NEVER got a call back or a return email. Bought another full set (can't just buy the kick trigger alone, or the repair kit for them off Amazon) as I needed a replacement quickly. Installed and used the new one for a couple weeks, but was concerned that I'd have another failure in the middle of a set. Decided to buy the Roland RT-30K, and keep the Red Shots as backup. I've played ddrum for 25+ years (have the ddrum AT, ddrum 4SE, and ddrum pro triggers, along with original release ddrum Dios maple series 6pc kit) and this is the first time I've needed to contact ddrum support... ABYSMAL response!... actually NO response, to date. I guess Armadillo Enterprises doesn't do support well. Wish they'd never sold the company to Clavia. Products were much better back then.

I was considering these, and I have bought the inexpensive pin tech single triggers. The other day I noticed in my cart the price dropped so low! So I ordered them. Not sure if this is a closeout, or a sale that temporary? But I got them for less than $67. Single triggers from other companies cost more than that! Now are these as good, durable, quality of say the Yamaha or Roland triggers that are like $80? Well, probably not. Even DDrim has a pro series that are much more expensive. But hey, I'm not a pro drummer. I play for myself only. But I wanted to integrate some triggers for a hybrid E-Acoustic kit. I already had RTOM Black Hole triggers on my set of RTOM mesh Black Holes. But I was only using those for silent play. Now I can blend sounds, which is pretty fun! I liked them enough that I bought another pack a few days after getting the first set. Waiting on them to arrive right now! I have lots of toms so the standard 5 piece kit isn't big enough. Now that I have them on some drums, I want them all to have them! And at this price, well I needed three more triggers. At $20 each for the Pintechs, I was at about the same price as a whole set of these. So now I will have some spares. Plus one of my toms is a gong drum, so it needs a bass drum trigger, which I wasnt going to get for only $20. Just a great value, and they work great!!! Very "hot". I have the sensitivity down really low on them all. It was easy to dial them in, except for a little cross talk. But I blame my lack of experience for that more than the triggers. Enjoy!

Very easy to install. They work well with most popular modules.I like the 1/4" jack inputs as they are much easier to deal with than the higher end xlr type

El paquete llegó muy maltratado, afortunadamente no se dañaron los triggers! Nota, en un bombo Yamaha no se puede adaptar el kick trigger, deben considerar un tornillo más largo al de fabrica.

Great product had no problem with it works great. Must put the trigger at 2 o'clock or 11 o'clock position to get good sound. Other then that it's a great product. Also must not over tight it. It works better with mesh head drum. I use mine with silent stroke by Remo. The only thing you need to buy a 2 zone trigger for the snare drum. For thr rim shot sound. These trigger are singel zone only. Meaning one sound per trigger.

Good product... It does exactly what it is made for... Caution is required when mounting it by moving the ridiculously thin wires away from the rim.
