These ceramic rods are part of the burner system in DCS (Dynamic Cooking Systems stainless steel bbq's - now DCS by Fisher Pykel)There are dozens of knock-offs available, but these are OEM and meet the dimensions & thickness of the original product, many of which are still the original 20+ yr old ceramic rods.

Every "deal" seemed to have negative reviews. Often the description didn't match the picture, specifically the wall thickness was obviously thinner than the 1/8" claimed. I wonder if Amazon pulls a picture to match the description...In the end, I bought OEM for not that much more actually. They are now installed, I can only assume they will last as long as the originals, about 4-5 years of pretty heavy use, year round.

These were exactly what our grill needed. Actually, I ended up going to Brandster's website and buying another 30 plus another couple other replacement parts. Communication with Brandster was good too. I got email confirmations every step of the way.
