I've recently begun two lighting projects using both indoor and outdoor LED lights and this device makes the process so much easier. I'm able to wire and attach LED stip lights where I think I want them to be and before cutting and hooking everything up to a permanent power supply, I can simply attach them to this battery bank's spring loaded 12v and 24v terminals. Not only can I set to make sure the devices are working, but I can be sure that I (and mostly my wife) approves of the placement and effects of the lighting. It's also nice that I can use it as a simple battery bank to charge up my phone if needed. It would also be nice to be able to run 12v lights in a remote location (think camping or a backyard party) and then power them off of the battery bank. I realize there are lots of usb powered led light options, but it's a scenario that I could see this potentially being an helpful especially if I wanted to use one or two 12v landscape lighting spotlights for a few hours. The one thing I will say about this battery bank is that I highly doubt that it's actually 10,000mah. It feels much too light for that and it's very common that battery banks are over hyped when it comes to their specs. I haven't tested it yet so I'm not going to deduct a star based on my suspicion, but I'd be willing to bet that it will put out less than 10,000mah when I test it.So for the time being it gets 5 stars from me. I'll continue to use it and will update this review if anything changes.

I use this to test kitchen led installs, and it's very useful. Especially when the electricity hasn't been hooked up yet, it's a godsend. Very competitive price as well, and the item seems well made and durable.
