This is a power supply usually used in a rack system, but is very, very dependable and maintains the voltage. There was just a quick adjustment needed to set the voltage at 13.6. Once set, there has been no wavering!

Purchased as part of a TIG Cooler build to run the pump and fans. Specifically selected because it has way more power output than needed so we're not overtaxing it and because it is switchable between 110 and 220. It is setup to run off of the welders dedicated 220 output plug for a cooler and works great. The pump and fans never sound like they are taxed due to low power input. The power supply runs cool and is SO QUITE. When checked with a multi meter voltage and current outputs are stable and consistent.I expect a long life out of the unit and it was a great price in my opinion for what I got.

Nice little unit and it has a knob to adjust the output DC voltage. Just dial it in with a multimeter and you're ready to go. Accommodates three separate stringers for in my case LED store front lighting.

La fuente funciona a la perfección, la instalación fué sencilla ya que vienen marcados los positivos y négativos, así cómo las coexiones de la corriente alterna.

I rarely return things to Amazon but this one is going back. It arrived with no documentation--it was just the power supply in a box marked "made in China." The unit had no labeling for specifications or connections other than some weakly stamped symbols near the unmarked terminal strip. So out of the box it was not very impressive.I connected a 60 watt test load (an incandescent bulb) to the 20A unit and it seemed to work ok. But with a meter and scope I could see that the voltage varied from about 8 to a bit over 12. The changes were usually abrupt, but sometimes the voltage would drift between 10 and 12 over a 5 second period. My application requires a regulated voltage, so I can't use this power supply. I didn't test it at a higher load.I was also disappointed with the build quality. The case/frame is very lightweight aluminum that flexes easily. I see some thin insulation under the circuit board to hopefully prevent the solder contacts from touching the case. The small mounting flanges built into the frame are very flimsy, as if they would break off easily. This is not a robust device. There is also no UL listing even though the search I did on Amazon included UL Listed. The description on Amazon doesn't mention UL, so I can't say it was inaccurate. But a device like this that will be used in an unattended and potentially enclosed space should be UL listed, or have some other equivalent certification. There is nothing to recommend about this power supply other than its low cost. Buyer beware.

I really wanted this to be a good power supply as the quality seems very nice compared to others I have purchased of the same specifications in recent years (I have bought far more than I would like to admit). However despite having bought so many of these throughout the years I have never received one that maxed out at 12.15 volts.. anybody that knows anything about electricity knows that voltage drop is very real; especially at these high currents. You could run a double zero gauge solid copper wire 50 ft and have more voltage drop than .5 volts at 30 amps. In other words if you're appliance requires an actual 12 volts or if you are looking to charge any 12 volt battery then this power supply probably won't work. I have a 30 amp isdt charger that requires 35 amps input to run at max power however as soon as the power supply reaches 11.9 volts of voltage drop at the charger then charger shuts down. I have used this smart charger for years and have never once had an issue with any of the power supplies I've used it on. And I would run other things simultaneously from the same Chinese power supply. If you run 12v LEDs with this power supply then they are going to be dimmer by up to 30%. I prefer to keep my electronics around 12.7 to 12.8 vdc. There is no need to go down to 8 volts or whatever this thing goes to it is just ridiculous to call this a 12 volt power supply. You can very carefully do the math and change out a resistor but I wouldn't recommend anybody I know to do that crap... I could do it but I don't have time for little issues like this when I can buy the cheap Chinese power supply for less money and works far better even at slightly less quality. Not sure what got into these power supplies but they should really get a grip on it because this problem will only grow more severe as smart voltage technology advances. I am giving this a four-star review because while I dislike this power supply a lot it is still useful if you don't mind running at low voltages. It just isn't for me and the review would have easily been one star if the seller didn't give me a unrequested refund. The seller isn't knowledgeable at all about the components in this thing so he issued me a full refund instead of answering my question which it's whatever I guess no harm no foul probably a good business move on his call but hopefully they do some follow-up improvements to the power supply itself and we will all be happy.
