I bought this thing with some trepidation seeing how many people returned it. I took a gamble because I really hate the dangling power cable from the dash cam. Installation itself was very straightforward. The hard part was getting the plastic mirror cover off. Once done. It’s as simple as just plugging the adapter cable in. The one complaint I have is that the cable is too stiff. It was hard to bend to get it inside the plastic cover. With this little power tap installed, my dash cam looked it was professionally wired. Now we just have to see how long this thing will last…

It's easy to install. I used this to tap into my mirror for my dash cam instead of tapping into the fuse box. I love that it shows the amount of amps being used by the connected device.

This is a great way to hardwire your dashcam with out the wiring needed to connect to ur fuse. you just need to connect to your rearview and thats it.Instruction was great and was easy to follow.

Bought it for my KIA. The plug did not fit but Contacted FitDvr and they were super helpful. They sent another Harness with perfect fit. Was easy to install. No need to run long wire for powering my Dashcam.

The plug 10-pin doesn't fit to the 10-pin of my Kia Sportage from 2007. The plug has a different size even though it's 10-pin as well.

Didn’t have to run wires or plug into the asesory plug. Even though dash cam manufacturer does not recommend it works fine. Still some wires show but tolerable.
