Das is quite a unique air dry clay in many ways. It’s very pliable, agreeable in the sense that it will want to smooth out for you. I like making smaller objects with it as a result The clay is very nice to mold with. I find it works well to hand build faces in relief. It is extremely plastic or pliable almost similar to working with porcelain. There is almost a rubbery resistance to it when working. Subtle but notable. The clay also has a very subtle/faint but unique smell that I haven’t noticed in other air dry clays (just an olfactory observation).I may try to kneed some little bits of fine yarn strands (little bits to add strength) or something similar into a sample and see if that gives it the ability to hold its form with larger items but This would be a future experiment as I haven’t tried that yet.I enjoyed working on small sculptures with it (so far wall pieces that are around 6 x 5 x 3”).

I'm not an artist or sculptor -- I wanted this to repair breaks in statues, like outdoor statuary. I had a darling angel, the gardeners knocked over and broke her wing! This worked great. It's easy to work with, not too stiff or soft. I sculpted it with my fingers into the broken part and let it dry. It dried overnight and turned into like plaster. I was able to color it with watercolor paint and then I sprayed two layers of fixative over it. We'll see how it holds up over time and with rain etc. But I'm please with it for what I wanted.

Easy to work with. Used for clay ornaments with my 10 and 7 year old. They enjoyed the project. The clay was soft. Really sticks to your hands! Protect your working surface. Would recommend.

This company has the best air dry clay by far. It works soooo well. This stuff is super durable and lasts forever if stored properly. It’s not messy and it’s easy to work with. I love that it dries slowly and can bend some of my creations when it’s not fully dry. It stays soft, but keeps its shape and then fully hardens after a full 24 hours. It almost looks like plaster when dried, and is whitish in appearance. Definitely a fun thing to have for crafts and projects!

It's an incredibly versatile air dry clay, works up nicely and is grey when wet and dries white. It carves well. However, when you carve it, you'll find that small intricate details aren't its strong suit and it may flake and cause issues for things like that. I can still recommend as long as you aren't aiming for super intricate detailing. It seems durable.

i don't do a lot of 3d arts, but this clay made it SO easy. dried sturdy and well, an amazing texture, easy to sculpt and blend. just using water made it so i could blend everything together! plus i just had a lot of fun. getting it off my hands was easy enough with soap and water, but never be afraid to exfoliate when getting clay off. loved it

This air dry clay is so easy to work with! Great for crafting and sculpting. I made some clay ornaments and painted them with acrylic markers and coated it with UV resin. It's not too sticky, and easy to clean off your hands. While you're working, keep any clay not in use under a damp cloth or in the original packaging in a zip lock bag. I also keep a little bowl of water nearby while I am sculpting so I can keep the clay moist and fill in any hairline cracks as I'm building. I was able to make two succulent planter pots too!

Not the best air-drying clay, but it sorta gets the job done (well, apart from all the unwanted cracking once it fully dries). I would definitely not say it’s sturdy whatsoever. My last clay project with this material failed. I was trying to make a miniature clay model of one of my dad’s favorite football players posing in a way that it looks like the player caught the ball midair. The wet clay molded well under my fingers at the beginning of this project, but this ease would not last very long.Unfortunately, the clay model could not stay standing without falling over within the hour, even after I placed supporting structures to hold the clay model up. Reminder; this is a miniature clay model, so it was no bigger than five inches in height which usually did not occur like that when making these clay miniatures. The model continued to fall over and every time a limb would completely break off.I would try coming back to this project maybe four months later, and the clay becomes like a stick, glue-like texture on the outside. On the inside where the clay has not dried yet, it becomes rubbery as this is the best way to describe it. I would not recommend this low quality clay if you want a decent clay model/sculpture.It’s easy to knead and work in your palm to a preferred form for about the first 15-30 minutes of starting your project, but I would say it’s relatively useless after that. I’m sure this pound of clay would be great for an artsy child with a short attention span, but to reiterate: I do not recommend the air-drying clay. Try polymer or using a kiln with a separate type of clay if you are wanting to create something worthwhile.

First one came in with a small tear in the bag. Which made the clay around the year hard.Company immediately replaced the clay and now I am happy with this purchase as well as with the customer service.
