When I tried these socks, due to the angle of the item above the foot they badly wrinkled on the top of the foot. Very strange never had this happen with any socks. Returned as likely cause discomfort on seriously long hikes.

I decided to try the junior size socks in size large as it seemed comparable to a woman's small. I wear a US size 6/european size 36 shoe. Actually, the junior size is slightly larger so it would probably also work for a woman's size 7/37. The junior sizes tend to be a bit cheaper than the adult, so this is a nice surprise. Of course, the quality is impeccable.

As a coach, I’m in socks and sneakers all day, and this can be tough on my feet. I love Darn Tough because the wool keeps my feet dry! I also love the natural antibacterial properties of the wool. As a female with small feet, I like the large junior socks because they’re bigger than the womens small but not as big as the mediums—they’re my Goldilocks size!

I decided to try the youth size L socks and they do fit. In fact they are a bit longer than adult size S. They were a little snug on my high arches, but then again, I have very high arches. I decided to keep because they are so cute and after having a few weeks I decided to wear them. They were very comfortable while wearing even in the areas I though a bit too snug which was the arches and a little bit on the toes and ankles. So depending on how small your feet are, which mine are a size 6, these just might work for you and save you some money. I'm very happy that I didn't send them back and think that the little bit of snugness was simply that they were brand new and after wearing they stretched just a bit to fit perfectly. Happy Customer.
