I love this quality of the product but I have to say the chemical smell is so strong and literally made me nauseous & I'm not allergic to rubber. I haven't used it because I'm searching for ways to get rid of the smell..while it is a great product just beware the smell is very strong.

Use this for us see my detergent. Absorbs all spills and protects my wood counterTop. Easy to clean but takes a long time to dry due to the absorbency.

I bought this mat to rest my tea pot on. It's extremely absorbent and looks great anywhere. I placed mine on a small dresser in my room and it's been there ever since. It's extremely durable and doesn't slide easily. I've sat steaming hot plates, cups, and bowls on this mat with no issues. It functions (for me) as a large coaster. It absorbs liquids but leaves no traces of it on the surface of the mat. It's thick enough to do its job but thin enough to be sleek and not unsightly. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome. Love these mats.Had gotten one for my dog's water bowl and was so impressed that I needed one for my coffee maker area. I ordered the gray one as it matches my kitchen. Can be used anywhere. The cool thing about them is that they are legit absorbent. No water makes it way to the bottom.The material is something I cant quite describe. Soft and smooth yet with a light texture. Kind of reminds me of elephant skin in appearance, then has a rubber backing, like a mouse pad. Any spills or dribbles just absorb into it. Sometimes over time, sometimes right away. It is usually just water on my end, but it is wild how it absorbs and dries pretty quickly. Wipes up well and really just works. I may get another for use as a giant coaster where I like to sit with my coffee.Really good value, and am super pleased with this purchase. If more colors come out I will find a reason to buy it, hahaI didn't notice any smell, but I had unwrapped it and set it aside for a day before getting around to putting it into place and using it. I wouldn't hesitate to try this.

I love how this fits on my coffee station. It’s easy to wipe down when milk or water spills. Color has not faded even when wiping it down.
