This replaced a 50 year old wooden handled one that the dogs chewed up. It works just fine and the dogs haven't touched it.

I have to dig some really entrenched weeds (some kind of pampas type grass) out and I think this tool has the heft to do that without bending. Decent length and round enough that it fits in my palm well.Metal portion is coated to help prevent against rust. Little pointy bits are sharp, no one better sneak up on me, they'd get a nice, thick gouge.

The tool is light to hold, yet strong enough to penetrate the soil easily. I was able to follow some longer roots down into the ground and remove weeds root and all. If you have a yard full of weeds it would be tedious work to remove them all. The handle is comfortable to hold and use. It would be nice to use in raised bed gardens and flower gardens If your yard has some occasional weeds, it is fine too. It is a good tool to have around!

I don't know about dandelions, but the tool is very useful in all sorts of gardening applications. I use it to trace previously buried drip line to find the emitters if needing to change or plug them. For many weeds, this thing can get down in the root and help dig them up.The handle is bright, and feels great in the hand. The tool has a nice heft to it and is very pleasing to have and use.

This is a basic weeding tool that is comfortable to hold and light but still sturdy. The plastic handle is well connected to the metal part and has an ergonomic grip. It's not too different from others aside from being surprisingly light for the size. It could maybe be better with a slightly more angled or bigger fork at the end but that would also make it harder to push into the soil so no stars off for that.
