Product Description

O-rings are one of the simplest, yet most engineered, precise, and useful seal designs ever developed. O-rings are available in various metric and inch standard sizes. Sizes are specified by the inside diameter and the cross section diameter (thickness). Danco o-rings will repair your leaky faucet and prevent future leaks. Faucets usually have one or more o-rings to prevent water from leaking out around the spout. Replacing worn-out o-rings is an inexpensive alternative to replacing the entire faucet fixture and is an easy DIY installation. Danco o-rings are high abrasive resistant and tempature resistant. Danco o-rings will withstand heat between a temperature range of 86°F to 248°F (-30°C to 120°C). These tough and pliable Buna-Nitrile Rubber (NBR) O-Rings will help provide long-term use for your plumbing needs. Danco o-rings are perfect for the everyday DIY'er or the Plumbing Professional.

Amazon sells Comfy Package [8 oz. - 25 Count Reusable Plastic Juice Bottles With Caps. They are well built and will last for years. I use them to hold small amounts of carbonated beverages. The problem is that they do not always seal well. Due to how the caps are made, these O rings fit perfectly in the caps and stay in place when not on the bottles. With these O rings, the caps easily hold in the pressure from the carbonated drinks every time.

Replaces the worn O-ring on a Gardena faucet tap connector. Used to buy these in a one pack at the local hardware store. Getting this 20 pack from Amazon made by the same manufacturer is much more economical.

In the life of every owner of 3.75-inch O-ring-based action figures, the original rubber ring connecting the figure's torso halves to its T-hook (that's an actual, unique metal piece manufactured to hold their leg pieces on through the pelvis and securely into the aforementioned torso) will rot out and break. It is a bummer for those of us who aspire to display the figure mint on card as they were at retail. Eventually that becomes impossible as they will all eventually rot and break and the figure is suddenly half the tiny man he used to be. To replace these, it is relatively simple and most of us figure out how to when we are still children and end up swapping parts (to GI Joe collectors, these are known as 'Franken-Joes' and are worth whatever the rarity is of the parts broken down or, um, not all that much unless you have half of an insanely rare figure. Unlikely). On the off chance you don't already know, you will need a small, electronics-size Phillips head screwdriver. It may take a while to find the right size if the screw is very rusty. Some of these saw action at the beach or in the bathtub years ago and it is difficult to even see the indentations of the screwhead. I have had to drill a couple out before, so be careful. Some O-rings will wear out sooner than others, largely depending on storage heat, moisture and other weather conditions. (I have noticed that I have had to replace a Danco replacement here recently and the way I know is that it dates back to the time when I had to cannibalize audio cassettes to get the right size screws and I used a black lacquered screw when I replaced the O-ring. So, we may be talking about the Danco replacement lasting roughly 30 years on the low end of their lifespan. Not bad). To replace MOST of them, the number 8 is a snug, proper fit, though I have found on more brittle pieces made with very poor plastic from the 00s and largely much older original Hasbro (swivel heads and anything with straight arms from '82-'84), it is best to go with a number 9 or 10 larger O-ring to alleviate the stress on the aging parts. You must be very careful when pulling the O-ring and T-hook back through the pelvis or you will snap the groin piece off. These and thumbs were always the weakest parts and they get more delicate with age and more difficult to find replacement parts. Be cautious, but don't be afraid to try and fix these. They are really not difficult. Also, beware weak imitations and thin silicone varieties. I use Danco, because it is (or should be) relatively inexpensive and is still a name you can trust to produce a quality product, whether for the intended purpose of plumbing or the alternate use of maintaining your figures and is indiscernible from the original factory O-rings.

These are an excellent replacement for the original, unavailable seals for the Utilian 5 wax pen…the originals have been unavailable from Utilian themselves or from any other third-party business online for months ! Completely unacceptable lack of support from Utilian themselves and from their dealers including Vaporizers.ca from whom i purchased my pen (and hundreds of dollars of other items over the years) from whom I never had any reply when searching for og rubber rings !! These are very slightly less thick, fit slightly easier, give a great seal and are still a pain in the ass to get off lol ! Overall an excellent permanent choice for the purpose since Utilian and their dealers don’t want to provide service for the products they sell. Well priced and quickly delivered.
