Use The Danco dielectric union washer wherever dissimilar metals occur in piping and plumbing systems or where an electrically insulated connection is required. Water storage tanks, gas piping, air conditioning, water conditioners, oil piping, plating tanks, water pumps and steam lines are common applications where the union washer can be used. It is constructed from rubber to provide strength and durability.

Not sure yet if it is going to meet my expectations, I have not used the product yet. The size seems ok. I am going to use it to change the present ones on the water meter unions. I hope they are going to be fine.

these will not fit a 1 1/4 Dielectric Union, in their defense they do not say they will but that was the only electric insulating union I was aware of so I assumed they would fit, they are good quality washers I just have no clue what I will use them for.
