It was actually for my shower faucet. Was leaking. Replaced it and now no leaks. Super easy to fix.

Expensive little part but it worked. Too bad I had to replace the whole shower valve anyway. Was still leaking after replacing the cartridges. Had a cracked seat.

I'd replaced the o rings on the cartridge, but it didn't quite do the trick. I bit the bullet and bought this, and viola, leaky faucet fixed. Not hearing drip drip drip is worth 50 bucks.
