About this item

  • AERATOR REMOVAL TOOL - Wrenches and other tools can cause damage to the housing. The rubber coat around the wrench prevents scratches or damage during aerator removal or installation
  • COMPATIBILITY - Fits most popular brand faucets for standard size (quarter), junior size (nickel), tiny junior (penny) or tom thumb size (dime). There is more information in the 3rd image
  • HANDY HOUSEHOLD TOOL - The Aerator Key removal tool is perfect to keep around the house for quick and easy aerator removal and installations to keep faucet flowing freely
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - The faucet aerator key is made of durable and reliable construction
  • EASY TO USE - The aerator key features an easy to turn handle and non-abrasive way to remove a hidden aerator

The new multi-use aerator key from Danco allows you to remove or install your aerator with ease. Overtime, aerators can get clogged with mineral deposits causing erratic or slow water flow, creating a need to clean or install a new aerator. Danco’s Aerator Key Tool has an aerator wrench for internal or external threads, as well as four sizes of keys that fit most faucet brands. While wrenches and other tools can scratch or cause damage to the housing of the faucet, this aerator key was designed specifically for easy, non-abrasive installation and removal of your aerator.

Before ordering aerator removal tool be sure to look at your aerator, the designs vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and one tool does not fit all. If you have a camping stool, sitting on that will make it easier to use the tool on a bathroom faucet, since you need to be able to pick the right size and line up any slots which requires viewing the area tor and the tool. This way no bending or bodily contortions. Works well! 😀

Worked like a champ, I've only run into one so far that the little wrench part couldn't loosen.Absolutely great size wise, it fits in my bags pocket easily! Has all the aerator sizes, worth it!

Tried with different Kohler taps ..this device is unable to open up any of the aereators…maybe this is meant for taps outside India or could be for specific models only

Handy and affordable tool for most basic faucet maintenance needs. It’s easy to use and fits a range of standard faucets, though it may struggle with stubborn or uncommon aerators.

This adapter has two sets of threads - one that attaches to the faucet in the sink, and another that attaches to a garden hose. The set of threads that attach to the sink are too short/flimsy. For example, when you install the aerator in the faucet, it will twist in 5 or 6 turns and attach solidly. But somebody skimped on the threads in this adapter. It twists in only _half_ a turn, and is not solidly attached at all. As a result, it leaks when you turn on the water - if you're lucky into the sink, otherwise onto the floor. And if you try to twist the hose coupler to attach it more tightly, the whole adapter pops off the faucet. It is simply too flimsy to serve its intended purpose.

This is a tool I thought I would never need. Well this bad boy went on sale and I decided to give it a try! Where has this been my whole life. I do water changes for my fish tank and have to remove the filter from the faucet each time. Before I would complain and bust my knuckles up, but not anymore. This tool works flawlessly for all my removal needs.

I specifically bought this tool to replace my plastic one which got destroyed while trying to unscrew a gripped aerator. I chose this over a proper metal spanner or key only because it specified this tool is a "durable construction" and made of metal, no mention of any other material. It turns out the flat part only is metal, the actual aerator key itself is made of plastic. It failed me on my very first first attempt, like my previous plastic key the aerator didn't budge so it's the flay section of the plastic key that gave in.Destroyed in seconds and my aerator is still there. Amusingly, I bought this for 35 dhs yesterday and today the price is 60 dhs...

I am giving it 5 stars because it worked for me when nothing else did..I have flex hose sink faucet with model number--A112.18.1; that is a Moen brand. This was the only aerator wrench that would engage the slots on the underside of the head. My choice would be to have one with slightly wider prongs to help avoid the prongs slipping out and ruining of the plastic slots, but, with the proper precautions, you probably can make it work.My faucet has 4 slots on the underside of the spray end. The set of prongs nearest the center of the wrench engaged two of these plastic slots. You have to be very careful not to tilt the wrench when you apply pressure or you will ruin the slots. Keep your hand cupped over the prong end of the wrench when you twist it. Don't think you can just twist the wrench holding the other end; if you do, you will surely tear up the slots. The faucet slots are at the center of my sprayer, so it looks like the wrench is going to loosen the center of the place where the water comes out. Instead, the threads you are loosening are around the edge of and inside the head, and when you undo it, all the head parts fall out. In effect, you are loosening threads that are 2" in diameter using a 2 prong metal device that engages plastic slots that are only about 3/4" in diameter. This is a really bad design, of course, so you have to be careful not to cam out the slots. If you successfully get it apart, be sure to coat the treads with silicon so it comes apart easily next time.I ordered through Amazon Prime about 11:30am on a Friday. The Amazon web page said this would receive same day delivery, but it actually came Saturday night about 10:30pm. That was good enough for me. We just washed our dishes in the toilet for two more days. No problemo.

Me ha sido muy útil este producto para mi lavador de botellas (para cerveza casera) que es para conectar a un grifo de manguera de jardín. Ahora lo puedo utilizar en la cocina. No gotea y se nota que está bien hecho. Recomendado.

This review is about the Danco 10522 Hose Adapter, Male Garden Female Faucet Aerator. The good news is that it is well made and the finish is great. I bought this hoping that it will allow me to fit a garden hose onto the PUR faucet mount filter. The PUR comes with 4 adapters, but none of the 4 have the thread size that this adapter has, i.e. 13/16 -27. It is partially my fault because I had no idea that it would not fit any of the 4 adapters included with the PUR. I should have bought the Danco, Inc. 10511 Washing Machine Adapter, 3/4" GHTF X 55/64"-27M, Chrome, sold right here at Amazon instead. The PUR filter has a chrome colored adapter that has a 55/64 inch -27 female thread, so the Danco 10511 will fit right into the PUR and the other end of the 10511 adapter can accept a standard 3/4" garden hose. Luckily, by shopping around, I found that adapters that are the same size as the Danco10511 can be found at my local hardware store. It is one made by Neoperl, and it is also sold here in Amazon. The difference between the Danco 10522 and 10511 is slight, but to my dismay, what I thought was a 13/16 thread on the PUR adapter is actually a 55/64 thread. I need a good caliper!
