This thing works great. Thought I had a broken faucet, ran slow and made a weird noise. Pulled the 50 year old aerator off turned on the water and it came flooding out. Put the Danco aerator on and it was like a new faucet. Replaced three other aerators with this model and I realized how fast water is actually supposed to come out a faucet. Works great.

Fit the standard faucet and provides nice flow. A little longer than the original, but doesn't affect use. A good price, a good fit, well made.

How can you screw up this most basic of basics?Poor instructions. There are at least six pieces with only 4 described. Its unclear how they go together. If you install exactly as it arrives no water will come out.The blue aerator screen is so cheap it literally started disintegrating immediately. Probably tiny plastic bits are coming off in the water stream. The water stream is not smooth and neat. It's a mess.Like others have said it's not worth keeping and not even worth your time to return.Zero stars

Install was easy. Wasn't expecting such a drastic drop in GPM, but also does aerate. Just keep that in mind when purchasing.

I recently purchased the Danco 10476 1.5 GPM Dual Thread Water-Saving Aerator for my bathroom sink. I was looking for a product that would help me to save water without sacrificing performance, and this product certainly delivered. The chrome finish gives the aerator a modern look that goes well with my sink. Installation was simple and straightforward, and the aerator works as promised. The 1.5 GPM flow rate provides plenty of water pressure for my needs, and I am now able to save a considerable amount of water with this product. I would highly recommend the Danco 10476 1.5 GPM Dual Thread Water-Saving Aerator to anyone looking for a high-performance water-saving solution.

I bought this to replace a Delta aerator that was clogged . Unfortunately they discontinued the brushed nickel finish on this model. Bought this from Amazon and it fits and works so much better. It is a bit longer than the original but still looks great and functions as it is meant to .

I've changed dozens of aerators over the years and have never encountered one that causes the water stream to break up into 6 separate streams at low volume as shown in the photos. This makes it impractical to use the sink at low flow rates. The flow/aeration is fine once the faucets are opened about 1/4-1/3 open. The reason for this unusual flow problem is the fairly silly design of adding a bladed plastic retainer piece after the screen. There may be other products that have a similar "feature", but I've never encountered one. These screens are usually unobstructed and it's the screen itself that provides proper aeration at all flow settings, though at low flow you usually get a solid non-aerated stream. The fix is easy. The aerator easily comes apart, as most aerators do. Just snip each of the blades close to the outer perimeter of the blue plastic ring and put it back together, and you have a normal, perfectly functioning aerator. It's not necessary to trim off every little piece of the remaining blades.
