Bolts are too short for anything but floor mount flange. I had to find spacers to lift and put 2 rings below. need to remove toilet and put another ring above . I'll paint bolts yellow to see them.

Bought this to use in my bathroom remodel as the old flange had a crack in it, This little handy item saved me a few hours of cutting out the old flange and replacing it. Was a tiny bit annoying to line up but works like a charm! Zero leaks in it and I have had it installed for over an month. Even came with a set of the toilet screws that you might need to replace from fastening down the toilet! Great value!

Just what I needed for a broken flange. Great product but I have two suggestions for improvement. First the legs on both sides need to extend further front to back only. The way the legs are now puts the flange next to the edges of the tiles. When making holes with a rotary bit, the tiles break and when driving in the cement screws more breakage. If the legs were just a little longer this might not happen.Second, the legs need to be positioned so they don't interfere with the ridges on the toilet bottom. I had to use a diamond blade on the bottom of the toilet to correct this situation. SEE PHOTOS.

Great item and idea, pretty easy install, bolts line up perfect. My only draw back is the closet bolt assembly is a thinner bolt than your standard toilet closet bolt.

I am a licensed Master Plumber, And this works every time if it is properly installed. Of course the proper way would be to raise the toilet flange above the finished floor like it shouod be, it should sit on top of the finished floor but most customers do mot want to spend sll that money, therefore there are many other options out there to raise the flange, But i think this works just as good as spacets or other flange extenders. If you put a regular high qaulity wax ring under this and then attach this to your floor, Then put another high qaulity wax ring on top of this, then sit your toilet down and push straight down , and tighten the toilet to flange bolts with proper washers you will not have leaks.. alot of people are not using a wax ring under this and on top and that's why your having leaks. This products says you dont need a wax ring but i recommend putting a wax ring under this and on top. I have installed at least 300 of these and never had a leak . When your done installing this product it should sit on top of your finished floor and after you put another wax ring on top you should have to physically push the toilet down with alittle force to spread the wax. Do not turn the toioet to left and right after you push it down or you will jeopardize the wax seal.. just push straight down and then tighten your bolts with the proper washers switch from left side to right side alittle at a time until toilet is snug, Do not over tighten the bolts because you can crack the toilet.. i use the American Standard plastic nut and extended bolt cap, it only requires you to tighten it by hand and you dont have to cut new bolts, because the caps are made longer to fit long bolts.. i keep abox of these on my work van

Oh Gee, this was hard to install! Our flange rotted away completely and for few years we had our toilet sitting on tile spacers to prevent it from rocking. Then i found this little guy, and hubby and I decided to go for it.Installation instructions are pretty clear, however it was somewhat of a nightmare for us. Entire job could have taken us 15 minutes, had Danco mentioned in their instructions that we might need a hammer drill. But we had to discover that on our own.We took the toilet off and cleaned everything in 15 minutes. When time came to drill four holes in our concrete subfloor, that's when we hit the wall. Entire set of out masonry bits broke off, despite of cooling them down. Then we tried titanium bits, entire set ruined as well. After about 50 minutes of drilling, and switching from cordless to electric drill, we thought it's about the time to scrap the job and call the professional to install new flange (with only one toilet inside the home, things were getting down to the wire, if you know what i mean).I decided to google how to drill into subfloor, when i came across something called hammer drill. With bunch of tools we have in the garage you'd think we would hear about this puppy, but we never did.So we sat down in the car, stinky and disgusting and drove to Home Depot. Rented Makita Hammer drill for 40 bucks, came home, drilled four holes in 2 minutes. Installed the toilet in another 10. Fell in love with a hammer drill, and put it on our Christmas wish list.Toilet is rock solid, neat and clean and will be easy to remove to change wax ring in the future.I hope my review will help someone, so you might get that drill before hand.i hate when 30 minute project turns into few hours of wasted time! So, all in all: Don't come knocking, our toilet isn't rocking :)

Overall an excellent product. Super easy to install. My toilet flange was completely broken and installing a new flange on top of it would raise the toilet too much, so I decided to remove the flange from the iron pipe completely. Then I looked up all the toilet flange repair products and found that many of them are either too thick (such as the Oatey PVC flange) or won't fit. Fortunately the Danco Hydro Seat came to rescue. All I had to do was to drill four holes into the tiled floor, put the toilet gasket in between, and it sets the toilet at the perfect position and height from the floor. Note that you might need a hacksaw to cut off the tip of the screws, as they tend to be a little bit too long. This product comes with everything you need to install the toilet, including the four screws that go into the ground and the nuts and bolts.I used this with the Sani Seal Waxless Toilet Gasket, and they were a perfect match for each other. The Sani Seal compressed to the ideal thickness when squeezed in between and seals the toilet perfectly from any leaks and smells. Oh and did I mention that the toilet has no chance of wobbling because this Hydro Seat is drilled into the floor with 4 screws? The iron construction of this product is very sturdy and will not bend or break easily like other toilet flanges do. Highly recommended.
